we are sort of talking about both things.  About this forum (the stats at the top) - that is what CJPhoto was referring to (i think) and also the program that you mentioned.

Looks like a neat program, but when I downloaded to my desktop, after I unzipped, there are a couple of PDF file, 1 stockwatcher.widgit file, but double click will not be able to start the program, anyone has any trouble downloading the window version?

If you don't already have the Yahoo Widget engine you need to install it.  It's free.

Anybody having trouble getting Microstock Watcher to fetch the stats from Shutterstock?  I haven't changed my password, and the stats are showing in the Firefox browser thingy, so i know the login information is correct.  All i'm getting is the 2 dashes ( -- ) across the stats for Shutterstock.

Yesterday mine stopped working also.  I guess we will have to wait for an update.  We will find out how good the support is.

Microstockwatcher is a wonderful program.  I would love to see it have more stock sites listed.  I'd also love to see another column with daily totals! 

We are aware of the Shutterstock problem and are looking into it.  It may in fact be an issue with SS rather than the widget.  I will post something here once we have identified the issue.  We thank everyone who has downloaded the software.

Thanks marcviln... we love it, and I believe you may be right that it's on the side of the SS server... even my firefox extension is having problems with them.

As I predicted, the problem was on the Shutterstock side.  They switched their login mode from https to http.  We have modified MicroStock Watcher accordingly and it seems to function properly now.  The new version (1.3 for Dashboard, 1.2 for Yahoo! Widgets - no functionality difference, just version numbers) is available for download at http://www.microstockwatcher.com/download.html

I've paid for microstockwatcher but I haven't received my activiation code yet emailed Marc about it but no reply. The code that was sent with the payment receipt doesn't work but I haven't had any other emails...what am I looking for??

Update: It's working now. It was my fault, didn't read the manual so didn't know I had to delete the name/password, restart the widget, then retype it information in .

What version are you using?  I belive the latest is v1.5

hey thanks I have the new one now!

Having to update the software will probably be a common thing.  Everytime one of sites changes their log in system or layout the software will have to be updated.  Obviously they have little control over it.  My only suggestion would be to implement automatic updates in the program.  That way it makes it easier to keep on top of it.
