I have about 2100 videos (motion graphics) and 6000 images.

My sales are gone down from 15/20 videos every month to almost 0 on Pond5, from may 2024, I don't know why, seems that my portfolio is hidden somewhere...

I think they simply stopped advertising pond5 and run it via shutterstock somehow.

All the blog pages are outdated, they are not doing anything.

They still have great content and should have a lot more sales.

But I believe video is the future, so much content missing. I wish I had more time to shoot.

Yes, my Pond5 sales about 2 years ago dropped by about 90%. Then with the new "good news" from them about stealing another 25%, dropped (in addition to their "good news") about another 50%.

For adobe, its concerning - this last week has been about 1/5th of what my sales normally would be. Quite concerning.

Agree with Cobalt that Shutterstock have abandoned marketing Pond5. It's just gone downhill. They dont seem to care that entire accounts are closing down there as I've seen posted on the Pond5 contributor forums. I found out last night I been accepted on Storyblocks  so gonna start uploading there. I hear mixed results with SB but it's got to be much better than Pond Dive.

But on pond5 I had a first time sale from a file uploaded in 2013.

so i stopped uploading photos after de rejection madness. and for the last 2-3 weeks i've been uploading only videos, which have a better approval rate. so i'm seeing my rank/sales improving again. maybe the low approval rate i had during the rejection roulette time made me drop from ranks 1500-2000 to around 4000. and now i'm back at 2900 with 22 sales today. videos port still with only 600 files, but it is helping the photos to sell again i think.

I think I've just lost a further 9 or so files on Adobe port. Still have old files waiting to be reviewed but no just go after the accepted files instead and take them out. These agencies can't criticise Trump for his apparent policy madness when they are just as BS crazy themselves.

And a further 8 + 14 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 6 + 9 contents (just updating this each time i see a drop - don't know if its photos or videos) just gone now. Adobe's free collection is over (I didn't participate) and now their razor gangs are out on a rampage to tear up ports. 

Oh that's right, nearly forgot... gotta make room for......

As it turns out there were 64 contents removed but they were potential IP issues so I'd much rather have that than my port shut down altogether. Yes they shouldn't been accepted in the first place but at least I am clear the content is not suitable and it's not just some random rejection.   

finally thing are getting better again.. this was best week since the end of march.. lol

i used to make near 200usd/week.. now i'm celebrating a 140usd at AS 😅😅

anyway, good week was due a 30USD video sale.. i started focusing more on real life videos this year, and its worth it.

Pos 4260 and 109 downloads - not so bad for my little portfolio. But the RPD is probably the worst ever: 0.68$. Combined with the increasingly weaker dollar, it's even worse. For the first time ever I got to the point, where I stopped looking at my earnings multiple times a day

I think I'm coming to a conclusion now...unless something totally incredible happens soon.

I will contact support by the end of June if things don't change, because it could also be some technical problem,I still have about 1000 contents sold at least once,so that's weird.

in the meantime i deleted 1350 old contents a few days ago, i'll see if it makes any difference in the next few weeks,I had already deleted 300 of the week before,all content never sold and that I will never sell anyway.

at the moment my port is about 5200 contents.

I have produced 500+AI videos in the last 5 weeks...292 approved so far, none sold so far.

The only thing I know at the moment is that I am about to write in my book where I track all my weekly sales,a number that I have never written down before.

Well, it is Monday, so...

Things are very slow and june 25 will probably be less than june 24, mostly because I uploaded very files in the last 10 weeks because of the rejection drama.

But summer is always very slow for me.

I am trying to do more camera content and also upload more elsewhere.

I hope we get some free collection money this wek.

The only thing that makes me happy is that I have a very wide diversity in sales and every week files get their first ever sales. So my portfolio is less reliant on individual bestsellers.

That was my goal for my second stock life. More longtail port with many files selling 1-3 times a year or perhaps once a month instead of a small number of files that make up 60% of sales.

The position / rank must be rolling week as I thought (and maybe I am slow of learning) it restarted at the beginning of a new week so it clearly doesn't. For once I have more downloads than Cobalt but curiously the weekly position is less than half. 

That is very strange indeed. For me it always resets on Monday.

But you have better sales, that is all that matters

The weekly position rank is not working as you expect it, it also taking in consideration your previous weeks rank.

another oddity undoubtedly,Pacesetter,like this strangeness of mine that continues...even this Monday so far no sales!
