I have been seeing the following message on my Adobe Stock Contributor portal for quite some time:"Dear contributor, your Adobe Stock contributor account has been de-activated. Please see your email for more information or Contact us."

I have contacted Adobe Support several times, but I always receive the following automated reply:

Dear Faisal,
Thank you for contacting us. We have received your message and your case number is 00449032.
A comprehensive overview and detailed information on most questions can be found in our Guide for Adobe Stock Contributors.
Kind Regards,
Adobe Contributor Relations

All the content I uploaded is completely original and complies with Adobe Stock submission guidelines. I did upload a few AI-generated images, which might have triggered the issue, although those assets did not perform well financially.

At this point, I'm unsure how to proceed. Could you please advise whether I should wait for further communication from adobe team, or if I am allowed to create a new contributor account to continue submitting my work?

I would greatly appreciate your guidance on how to resolve this matter.

Best regards,
Faisal Javed

You have to wait until they reply...which can take months...many months. If you read around various groups creators are reporting wait times of 8-12 months for a first real reply.

But then once a person is assigned to your case, the issue gets resolved and sometimes creators get their port back. Most usually don't.

Also it is a personal block, not a blocked email, so please don't be "clever" and create new accounts in the meantime. This is considered fraud and they will block that account as well and then you have no chance of ever getting your port back. You are blocked as person.

Personally I would also be very wary of using a lawyer because no company in the world is forced to work with you.

All these platforms like eBay, Etsy, stock agencies have in their small print that they can pick and choose who to work with.

Many people don't realize that getting blocked by an agency often leads to a lifetime ban.

Sometimes people get a second chance when applying many years later, but usually banned is banned.

There are occasionally cases where things get resolve in 3-6 months but it seems to be rare.

Personal suggestion: focus on other agencies.

You could try working with a distributor like wirestock, where your content comes in as part of a larger portfolio, but in that case I would personally make sure it is completely fresh content.

Because wirestock also kicks people out if they discover someone was banned by an agency. And probably there is something in your files that triggered the problem.

So if you want to work with a distribution partner, at least make sure the new files are clean and totally new also not variations of an older series.

Like I suggested in discord - I would strongly work on building portfolios at other agencies and perhaps try building merch stores with the content you already have - stickers, notebooks, t shirts, wallpapers, print art...it is a different world but many people do it and a merch store can rise quickly if it has attractive content.

Never rely on just one platform. Never.

People get deleted for all sorts of reasons and it can happen anytime.

You can also try building your own webshop, especially if you have unusual and valuable content. For instance if you do lifestyle people photography and are a specialist in the medical images sector than a subject like that can be so valuable that it can be worth opening your own direct web shop.

But of course...then you need to deal with customers directly...

Good luck with your journey.

@Cobalt...

FWIW Adobe does not work with you or anyone. They offer a proprietary platform that if their terms are met allow you to upload your work for sale for a agreed to amount and agreed commission structure. They offer the carrot and it's up to you to take it and at all times they are the master of the carrot. This is not only Adobe, all the proprietary platforms are the same.

There are enough of us chasing the carrot that through the very nature of crowdsource proprietary platforms none of us, and I repeat non of us as an individual is worth an iota to them.

Sad but true.

I agree, it is a business agreement not a personal partnership.

Sadly many people have been misled about how to work with agencies. There are screaming YouTubers suggesting people should open multiple accounts, to always have a "backup" account if one account gets closed down.

Or they employ a network of friends and family to open accounts but feed it all from their industrial ai production.

I do believe Adobe could have done a much better job at educating newbies and if they had limited uploads early in the journey it would not have been such a problem with mass spam.

Not saying the OP is spamming, maybe he has a problem only with his ai, which can be resolved and he gets his account back.

I hope he gets his account back.

But you never know what happens and should not rely on just one place if you need the income.

Have you managed to get your account unlocked or received any guidance from Adobe? I'm in a very similar situation and haven't been able to get any response from Adobe support regarding my case (number is 00450956). Any advice or insights from your experience would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in the same situation. I still haven't received a response from Adobe. The reason for the blocking is unclear.
