Yes, you are right, I have been thinking about that. I will probably try elements for a month and see how it goes. I was going to focus on video, 2 hours every morning, until we know if we get the code.

Good suggestion!

Try Affinity it's free.

That's great the Affinity is free, but what about a replacement for Lightroom?

My code runs out in 2 days. I still have photoshop elements 2023 and for video I use final cut.

Mostly I hope the code comes at some point. If they have cancelled the program, would be great if they told us.

If you cancel Adobe Photography plan, Adobe will probably offer three months for free.

I don't like / use Lightroom - but that's not the point.
Cobalt mentioned using Photoshop Express which doesn't include Lightroom.
Having used PS Express and Affinity - Affinity is what I would choose.

Photoshop elements not express atually.

I tried affinity a long time ago, but couldn't get into it.

Will use elements for a while and perhaps, yes, ask adobe if they have a promo offer, good idea as well.

Sorry yes I meant Elements.

Video Resolve (or non sub Resolve studio) i find far better than Premier so switched a while back.

Ive yet to find a useful Lightroom alternative app though for the catalogue features integrated.  Thats a kicker at the moment.

The free is amazing program! It's all you really need unless your Steven Spielberg making Hollywood movies which they probably used the full version lol!

"Your story to life" "...  hmmm?? ???
I think more something like: "Your time of real life to death"  :-\

Do we have any news regarding contributor bonuses for 2026?

This year absolutely everything I submit, photo or AI gets rejected from adobe. It's like they don't want anything from us.

;D They take my work, ZERO AI.  ;) And guess what? My sales are encouraging, after 20 years of contributing!

It's a really good news if prompting for AI generating is already obsolete. I predicted that from the start.

Giving Affinity a go, not up to speed with it yet.

No point my paying for Adobe, I like Lightroom and Photoshop but as I mainly do video it's not really worth it.  I use Davinci for video.  Great software IMO.

For Nikon users, I recommend NX Studio. If you study it carefully, it has a lot of development potential as an alternative to Camera Raw. About Adobe, what can I say? No bonus, but you won't get my money. They didn't inform us, and I worked hard for them in 2025. If I have to pay, I'll choose another paid software. Goodbye Photoshop

I do think they should let us know either way, so we can all make our plans. Not saying anything does not lead to positive feelings.

Yes, obviously they just don't care of contributors.

Anyka

So very sorry to say this, as I'm a big fan of all adobe products, but I just bought ON1 Photo Raw and started studying ...  I retired 2 years ago so I no longer have my photo studio (portrait studio), and microstock has returned to hobby-level (both in number of photo sessions and income), so paying for a monthly subscription would not be in proportion to the income.  But the withdrawal symptoms will be huge, after 25 Adobe years!
Now if Adobe surprises us with a free subscription before my "due date", I'll be a happy bunny and stay with Lightroom and Photoshop, but I'll have ON1 as a backup for next year.

One thing that Adobe should really have done:
notify contributors about termination of Bonus program. Just fking NOTIFY.

Another thing that could have been done:
provide a discount to CC packages for contributors. No big loss of money for them, yet gradually sliding off the bonus program. Quitters will quit. Others might stay. Many would have preferred to pay though less that a non-contributor.

There is a kind of discount. You get 3 months for free if you cancel. I just chose to quit.

And can you quit after the 3 free months?  That would give me more time to study ON1.

Nope, they charge you the annual subscription fee minus 3 months when you sign up. That's the reason I quit.

I almost fell for this when I was canceling my subscription yesterday. Thankfully I realized before it was too late that accepting the offer would lock me in for another full year (even though I wouldn't be charged for three months). No, thank you...

i'd say it's not a discount. it's a bait. but i might give it a try with another in-app virtual card that can be created and next day deleted :) before i finally quit

Anyway it's easy to find 80$ 1 year full license for sell on internet.

Considering all... downloads drop, huge earnings drop, Ai prioritizing , those adobe's experiments with keywords adding....I'm not sure anymore that 80$ is good investment.
At the end it all goes to - your better image, vector or video - some ai generator will learn how to be better than you, and yet you are the one that pays for it.
