But what about Adobe's policy stating that automatic submission by third-party apps is prohibited and may result in a ban ?

On your concern, I did some research into Adobe's actual position:

1. Adobe General Terms §3.12 acknowledges third-party tools and disclaims
   responsibility — it doesn't prohibit them.

2. Adobe officially recommends third-party SFTP clients (e.g. FileZilla) +
   CSV bulk metadata for high-volume contributors. That's exactly our workflow.

The market reflects this — many apps and cloud services offer the same
workflow openly:
   - Xpiks (open-source desktop)
   - StockSubmitter (market leader, 30+ agencies)
   - Qhero (cloud)
   - Wirestock (AI + submission)
   - MicrostockSubmitter
   - Imstocker

But those apps or cloud service are too expensive.

That said — if you're still concerned, you can simply disable Auto-Submit in
the app. The AI metadata, SFTP upload, duplicate detection, and batch
management all continue to work and still save you most of the manual effort

You're right about the option to disable this feature, even though doing so would limit some potential evolution (the ability to schedule image uploads and submissions in advance would be very useful  ).

Adobe customers (photographers, freelancers, hobbyists), not Adobe staff.
