It's looking like a good time to upload to IS. I haven't uploaded anything there in quite a while - what's the current time between upload & approval for non-exclusives?

Hey Stephen,

IS has become my number one monthly earner, and has even become my number one overall earner.  The reviews have been taking 6-7 days for me.

Good luck and welcome back (to IS).

Are new files getting better placing now?  I have been holiding off most of my images until they do.

Very consistent 7 to 8 days, just in time to upload some more.  ;D Sometimes I have 20 photos waiting for review, which means 8 days or more.

Don't have a clue about placement, but I had two images get over 100 views, within a few hours of being accepted and they didn't show in the search results yet. I'll assume that some people are searching New Images, not by keywords.

How do I test for "better placement"? Say I had a file approved on Friday (which I did) how do I know if I got "better placement"?

Are people saying that they have better placement, and more sales, by not uploading and not having the photos seen by anyone, rather than uploaded to IS and being viewed by potential buyers. You'll have to explain that logic?

Yes, I think they are, which is why I'm going to resume uploading.

Thanks Sharply.   I had already put  a few up and I think I'll see if they go well before I put the rest up .   They've already said that new files will get better placement when the new best match comes into effect so if these don't sell I'lll wait a bit longer.

That's my plan, too.

This latest best match gives very little emphasis on new files so files that are uploaded at the moment get 'lost' and might never sell.   By saving them until BM2 comes into action they will have a better chance of being seen and ending up as long lasting sellers.

About a week for me also. Acceptance is much higher than what I am currently getting at SS and sales are competing with SS every month. It's mostly my older stuff selling, but placement is where it should be. I haven't tested the new uploads yet for placement. They are definitely getting more of my attention now that both acceptance and sales are so far down on SS.

I had the weirdest thing happen the other day at IS with my video reviews.  I had quite a few in the pending all the way back to the begining of Feb.  The person who reviewed my videos did almost all of them through the begining of March, but left 2 from the middle of Feb.  I have never had my videos reviewed like that before.  I thought they only did it by date, not batch. :o

Got it. Long term gains, if the new system is better vs immediate gains, right now.

So how do I test for placement? There has to be something more than NEW for deciding what page photos go into.

Why does it feel like I've been reading about BM2 for about a year and it keeps not happening, or someone says it did, but it didn't?  ;D

Review time is usually around a week for me. Rejections have gotten a little better now that I rekeyword every image just for IS and am only submitting my best stuff. I was trying to submit everything but at 15 photos a week I would never catch up.

I saw today something strange with my pending images .....
There are still images pending from late januari while new images got approved already.....
Someone knows the meaning of this ?

Umm, thats what I have to do too.  Get the keywords to between 8-12 and submit there.  Sales are stellar though!!!

I have this happen a lot too. just email them and they will review them. I think there is a glitch that causes this top happen every now and then.

Most of mine are around a week, but I have three images that have been waiting over 2 months to be reviewed.
