I saw this link to the diamond list.  Although the date is a year ago, I believe the list shows the current numbers (updated in real time):

Interesting list.  What surprises me is how quickly the numbers fall away towards 25,000.

As I keep trying to tell everyone - good stock photographers are in short supply.

Also interesting to note how few of these people spend time in the forums. Wonder what they're doing instead?

Maybe they are doing it rather than talking / moaning about it.

They probably have a hotline (sort of like the Bat-phone) to IS if they have any issues.

Check out no. 142, Andrew Johnson, a mamber since February 2006.  He was in the race to silver with me starting January this year, so he has gone from bronze to diamond inside a year.  Could be heading up the list quite quickly.

And he finds time to waste posting lots in the forums.

A remarkable portfolio, sorted by age he hardly ever has any images with no downloads  ::)

You've got a pretty well remarkable portfolio yourself sentinel - a delight to browse through, with so many different subjects and vivid colours.  Most of your pics jump off the page and shout 'buy me' which is what selling stock photography is all about.

Congrats to everyone on that diamond list.

Hey! That's me!!  ;D

WOW! It's interesting to see that'll be in the top 160 of contributors! I was sure there were much more Diamond members than that! Which means that very few are making a full-time income from just Istock. MOnth by month my sales are increasing at Istock and decreasing at SS. Who knows, maybe one day it'll be financially viable to be exclusive... black diamond maybe   ::) ;)

Just as an FYI (sorry if this has been mentioned before)... #4 on that list has just quit his day job and is doing photography full time

That's soooooooooooooo cool! I quit my job last year (14 months now) and only do photography. 70% of my income comes from stock. Life is beautiful  ;D

Hey Yannick,

This is great, I'm happy for you.

I'm hoping to be able to do the same within 2 years.

When I click on the link in the first post, it goes to Duncan1890's page. Am I missing something? Sure would like to see the Diamond list.
