Someone changed my payment address in my esp.gettyimage.com account and my money was sent to that address by Getty Image. I contacted Getty Images Contributor Services but they did nothing to help me.
10 days since the last email and no reply and no money and no action from Getty Images Contributor Services side!!!
Today I had to change payment address myself to my correct  Payoneer address, otherwise they would pay to the fraud address again!!!

Getty Images Contributor Services didn't change the fraudulent email address they sent money to. I had to do  it myself. And still no reply!!! So I don't know the destiny of my money.

Seeing support can take quite some time to respond, considerably longer than it would take you to change your password/payment address... it's always going to be best to change your password/payment address as soon as you notice anything like this. Then contact support.

Yes. Regularly.

And don't use the same password on any two sites, anywhere for anything. More people claim to be "hacked" when they are the source of the information. Get a notebook or use lastpass for free.

I must say you are not alone.
This happened to me last month. I contacted Getty and got a refund.
I changed the payment info and password once I got to know my account was compromised.

But how could someone change the account details without any notification ( we always get emails when there are changes in the account) , Is there any guarantee that this will not happen again in the future.

How did you hack my secret password, now I'll have to go change it on over 200 accounts that all use the same password!  ::)

OK if I can be serious for a change.  Go to this site, this is for people who have had their accounts changed and for people who will in the future, because they used the same PW on numerous sites. (even though after the accounts are stolen, they claim they didn't use the same PW on multiple sites)

https://haveibeenpwned.com/  go there and enter your email address, see what you see.

Also blaming the agency is always the easy target. Do you use public internet, unsecured? Do other people have access to your PW and computer. Have you run anti-virus and system checks that look for Trojans that will steal your PW? Do you play games and quizzes that ask obvious password recovery hints, like what was your first dogs name, who's your favorite author and in effect you give thieves enough information for them to apply and get a lost password entry?

Try it please:  https://haveibeenpwned.com/

I did and I see many of my old obsolete passwords from years ago, are out in public. I can never use one of those again.

Have fun, play safe.
