hello !
I'm soooo confused with that https://www.espaws.com uploading process.
I have created my account but as I understand it's an uploading tool only.
I have uploaded a few video files... about 400 and I can't track the revenue of them, can't see it on my iStock account too. I've stop to upload since I taught that the uploaded file would land somewhere on the site but the money... not in my pocket.
The end of the year is near and I did some accounting and guess what... sometimes I receive a few amount here and there from getty image... and from getty image (with an amount that fit iStock revenu).
So I receive money from it BUT... how can you track you sales ! Did I just duplicated my folio... what is happening.
How is it working for you guys !?
Thanks !

espaws is the only way to upload videos to iStock. Any videos that you've uploaded to espaws should show up in your stock portfolio once they're approved.

Espaws is a surprisingly good and easy uploading tool. It is maybe the best thing related to Istock. Once the video files are curated and accepted, you must see them in your IS portfolio and you will track your sales within the IS. If there is no sales in IS it means there is no sale. There is no any other platform for you to track your sales other than IS.

I havent used ESPAWS since May. Once Istock decided to pay $6-$8 a clip, including 4k i ceased my uploading. To me this is among the worst things they could inflict on video contributors. It SCREAMS WE NO LONGER CARE IF YOU SUBMIT OR NOT. I choose NOT.

This is of course the real issue. Getty can send someone by my office everyday to do all the keyboarding and processing and take the material and upload it for me and it still wouldn't be much use given the end sales results.

Thanks for the replies !
I will upload some new video content and see if it appear on my iStock account.
But I really receive 2 money transfer from Getty. One that match my iStock account and an other one that is out of nowhere and I taught it was maybe the reason.

Maybe my uploading process is not linked properly to my iStock account. ???

I stopped also uploading footage to istock. Has no sense to upload a clip there when I can get 100% at Videoblocks or 50% at Pond5. Even SS it's ok. I don't know what they are thinking regarding footage.

I suppose that they want only exclusive contributors, this is why the prefer to not have non exclusive ones.

They arent giving exclusives much either. No more money for 4k than hd.  If istock is taking the path that they want only exclusive footage they need to change their entire commission structure. Otherwise they will have only a smidgen of clips compared to other sites. They will lose.

That's true.

That's why they have only one third of my portfolio, whereas I upload as much as I can to P5, VB and SS.

I'm a bitch... where there is money I will upload.
ss, p5, istock, VB, DT, deposit photo, dissolve, fotolia, videohive... maybe I forget somewhere.
Some don,t have my best files because they sells too cheap / that's it.
some like iStock and Fotolia... I upload when I have more than 500 files to worth uploading.

but still get me confused that epawn account that I don't see my footage on my iStock account !!
