Dear Contributor,

We are notifying you that we are retiring the Getty Images Music Portal platform in early June. To meet the needs of our customers, we will be collaborating with Epidemic Sound to incorporate their royalty‑free music collection into our products.

As a result, your Getty Images Music Contributor Agreement and/or Pump Audio License agreement is terminated effective August 6, 2020.

Prior to the termination of your agreement, all music tracks will be removed from However, customers will still be able to complete licenses until August 6, 2020.

Just in case anyone is interested that didn't get this.

That pretty well does it for me. Some months I made more on SFX than photo.  ;D

Dont they also have exclusive audio producers?

By August they have no income and must upload everything elsewhere.

And this during Corona, that is hard.

Nope that was another subtle change. I missed it back in 2016

8/5/2016 I got the move to Getty 30 day notice.

Terms: "SECTION 1. RIGHTS AND ROYALTIES 1.1License  Grant  to  Getty  Images: You  grant  Getty  Images a non-exclusive license  and  right  to  distribute,  sublicense,  market,  copy,  use,  publicly perform, synchronize, reproduce, display, transmit, broadcast, exhibit, adapt, edit, modify, enhance, and/or create derivative works of the whole or any part  of  any Accepted Content."

Then when I was having issues with ESP and music showing up or not or listed as moved or not moved...

Hi Pete,

Thanks for reaching out to Getty Images!

As you know, iStock no longer license's audio tracks, we have moved the home to Getty Images.

When the collection went from iStock to Getty, everyone was made into "no-exclusive"   :(

At the same time, they removed anything that had cars or racing, cycles, or those. I'll assume that was under the same as the no professional or sports change.

"Thank you for your email.
The terms of your Getty Images Music Contributor Agreement are no-exclusive, so you are free to submit content to other distributor libraries as you wish. "

Since I missed that I had asked when I was going to upload SFX to P5, which turned out to be 100% rejected because of professional content.

Which means I'll have nothing audio, anywhere soon.

I don't know how I was getting sales, and the price shows as $10

But I was getting 25 cents a download.  >:(

Oh well, another phase of Microstock changed and ended. If anyone knows a nice friendly audio site, that actually accepts SFX, drop me a note or pop in a link.

No Really! That one was probably the best selling. A stuck RR crossing bell, no train.

Does anyone know how I can access the metadata from my audio files?  I have about 250 audio files that will need a new home and I have no info saved from them.

Thank you!

Update:  Managed to get most of it but not the keywords as they are not visible. Titles and descriptions yes!  :D   Now I need to re-keyword everything!
