An ordinary month in June and earnings below average for 2024...

Fewer sales but higher RPD, which is the way round I prefer*, second highest total of the year.
*Though, like everyone, I'd rather have more sales AND a higher RPD. Dream on  :(

Income was double that of last June and RPD was slightly higher than usual.

This month, the "yearly" Connect Sales collected were also settled, which were usually paid out in April.

This may explain the higher turnover this month for some (like me).
If you exclude these (40% were the Connect Sales I collected), it was a normal month for me.

Miserable month for me!

You're in good company. Worst month in 2 years. After the "refund month" my earnings are falling down constantly.

Above average month for me but I expect better next month, July volume of sales increased quite a bit compared with the rest of the year.

I can never really figure out what I really made between reported and revenue etc...

Stockperformer say reported are 28 dollars, but I guess it can go up next month.

But the accumulated total is now 115, so it looks like I will get paid this month.

I should upload normal photos, the advantage of istock is they take basically everything and also sell real world images and not just the studio shots.

Better than deposit and dreamstime.

3 video sales for 40 cents, 47 cents and 1.40 usd ...that will motivate to go and edit files immediately...

Still for not uploading at all, nearly 11 years now...it is remarkably resilient. Lots of old files from 2005 that still get a sale every month.

I am sure if I fllled up the port the income would grow again.

I recommend that you concentrate on photos with Istock, video sales are similar to photos, so why the hassle?

in my case: 18 video sales for 15$, sales are between 0.03$ and 1.75$.

I have some friends with several thousand non exclusive videos on istock. They say it is their second best seller after pond5.

Perhaps if you reach a certain critical mass more files get selected for better rankings?

Anyway, I need to just start with pprocessing and uploading regular photos, these can then also go anywhere.

But at the moment I am focussing on Adobe, want to bring my port up to 10-12k files.

It is very hard work, but Adobe has reliable sales.

Once that port is established, i will look more into other agencies.

For photos istock is probably the second best option.

iStock might or might not be second best option for Photos, but I will never feel good about disrespectful 15%

For me Alamy is 2nd preference after Adobe.  $$$ sales still happen and interface is friendly.    Single sale in June earned 3x more compared to 40+ downloads on getty
