October Stats are in.

For me: 2nd top # sales of the year, but a low RPD makes it average $$$.

On the good side, better than Octobers 2023, 22 and 20.

Second best month in terms of earnings with $375. Exported the text data and plugged into a spreadsheet, filtered for RPD of video vs photos...

  • RPD for photos and video combined is $2.60.
  • RDP for photos is $0.82 (82 cents)
  • RPD for video is $4.41.

Second highest iStock download total for 2024, but the low RPD - $0.53 - is just sad. There were 15 royalties that were 0.015 cents!

My RPD at Adobe Stock for October was $0.88 (and the downloads were much higher too)

Good thing that money isn't what makes me happy :)

Love you for this.  Thank you!

My October IS = BME.  RPD:  1.723.  Reason to be happy?  Not likely, as soon as I think how much they made with disrespectful 15% rate wind leaves my sails.

Pretty good month for me.  RPD is .77, certainly seen worse.  One really good sale, one decent sale, a good number of sales for over $1 and a huge pile of $.14 sales as well.  First time ever that non-US narrowly beat US sales which is something to be encouraged by I suppose.

My iS image RPD is above Adobe image RPD this month, and that is frequently the case. This is despite the 15% non-exclusive rate. So I just ignore the $0.02 sales and focus on the bigger picture.

42 dollars, no payout this time.

But no complaints as I have only managed to upload 6 files.

Trying to at least upload something every month, then hopefully every day until I get back into it.

Well, this is unusual for me. I had a better October than the last two years. So, I guess I'll take the win.

And there weren't any big deal sales ... all just ordinary sales.

Partly, not the same. Rpd AS is 80c and IS is 54c, plus that's ignoring the Connect. 6 Times more sales on Adobe for me. But we can see, that there are others who vary and find they make more on SS than AS. Just the way things go.

But, yes, I try to ignore the 2 and the 15% and just take what falls on me, which is better than nothing. Not a whole lot better, but it is better.  :) The bigger picture is, they send me some money now and then.

Worst month since 2008. 25% down from September, which already sucked. Half of March earnings, which were the highest this year

Second-best month in 2024 in terms of revenue.
Third best month in 2024 in terms of downloads.
RPD = $1.22 (stills only)

Best October since 2019.

October was my best month ever at istock with 150 downloads and 99.57 USD earned.
Adobe was close behind with 99.09 and first place goes to shutterstock with 111.06 USD.

Adding some peanuts from other agencies, and my total was 348 dollars, the best result so far on my stock photography journey (ports 2000-2500 assets).

Sometimes I think like: wow, I am doing pretty good, but then seeing some of you people earning as much as 3000/month, and some of you achieving it even with small ports is a very humbling experience for me, and it motivates me to keep improving!

Your situation is almost mirror image of mine.  Similar port size,  October BME on IS, etc.

Keep improving is definitely right approach.  My only comment is to never prioritize quantity over quality.  In my opinion it is better to have lean, high end, unique port of 2000 images than 20.000 full of similars, low technical quality etc.

;D  And in my case the algorithm is rewarding people with small numbers of low quality Crapstock images.

I received my October payment today. Unfortunately, it's missing $15. The tax form is valid until 2027, so that can't be the problem.
I've just written to them and asked them to transfer the difference.

Is anyone else affected besides me?

My October payment arrived earlier today - it matched exactly the amount shown on my PDF statement. I'm in the US FWIW.

Wilm, you'll need to contact Support.

PS: there are two similar reports on their own forum.

My payment is also less than what is shown on the website.

I just updated my tax form, probably a week ago. The website said that I had until December 30, 2024, to do so.

I don't get it.

How do I contact the support?

Here is how to do it in your browser. (There's presumably a similar method in the app). Log into ESP, click on Account Management at the top right, then click on the Contact Us tab, select the Payments category, click Next, select "My payment was MORE/LESS than expected, etc etc, just follow the online instructions and fill in all your details.
