Anyone stopped to look at the front page? The One Thing contest, where you are invited to submit entries for video or print to show "One Thing everybody agrees on"?

Look at the list of judges ... CEO of MTV, boss of a media company AND the Senior Vice President, Creative, at GETTY IMAGES, no less! http://zooppa.com/contests/one-thing-we-agree-on/brief?isource=EN_HS2

It's a great concept, isn't it? One thing that we can agree on that some of the media industries top bosses will judge personally... I know a lot of you are much more creative than me so I just thought I would alert you to this wonderful contest, in case you skip the iStock landing page the same as I do.

Perhaps some of you could post your entries here, too, for us to admire.

It just depends on thinking up one thing we all agree on.

That's very easy to answer right now.  ;D

Well, get to work on it, Ruby! The senior vice-president at Getty wants to see your ideas.

Could be an "interesting way to hand in your notice"

Quite honestly, I can't think of a way to illustrate that 'one thing' that would be suitable for any audience.

Hmmm -- I didn't realise at first, but it is being run through some organisation called zooppa, so istock presumably don't get to see/"curate" the submissions before the judging. Though other people might.

Obviously, any message needs to be conveyed in a creative way.

... and obviously this isn't just about us... but 'Fair Trade' is surely something everyone can agree on, so if I were participating in this I'd start with that.

photographer shooting a model/set up in the foreground, whilst in the bg we see a suited guy handing over something to a goggle t-shirted guy, who's holding a sack of $$?

Perhaps a gold crown being thrown off a bridge?

A homeless, dirty, raggedly dressed person wearing a gold crown sitting on the sidewalk and begging with a tin cup.  Sign behind him leaning against a dirty brick wall with appropriate wording such as "iS exclusive will take photos for food" or something similar.

Alternatively, an image of the Danish statue of a little boy taking a piss (I forget its name) and peeing on a Getty and/or iS logo.

The prizes are stupid though... istock credits, somebody should warn the participants that they could be worthless by the time they get their hands on them  :P

Belgian, actually.  He's called the Manneken Pis, which means exactly what it sounds like.

Yes!  And a big fat guy with Google suit and expensive cigar giving $12 alms ...
