Let's start a thread for those who might have a chance to reach the $25 payment - I just cashed out -so I am personally not close enough.  There was mention of "converting small balances to credits" and I also have one lonely token left from a package that I purchased.    Others may have some as well - so maybe with those credits can grab some photos for our blogs or designs and help our friends out.

Post here JUST a link to your gallery and the amount in your piggy bank.  If the amount changes, come back and revise.  (Our own little Kiva!)

Cool idea! I only have a dollar twenty so unfortunately I may lose mine( which I personally think is unfair as someone is using the pictures I made that they paid for ) unless there is a mad rush on my spectacular and enormous portfolio  :D

I have 69 tokens left but I cannot buy anything with them. I never purchased them, they were the ones given out at the beginning when we all first uploaded there. I just tried to be sure and it does kick you back to the home page.

I guess I will have to contact support if I want to buy some "real" tokens.

I believe we have to ask to convert our earnings to credits. Is it a 1 to 1 value, I suppose?  I have just US$4.50 left.  I wish I could give it to Kiva (to support their work, not a loan).

Adelaide

is there anyway to ask LO to accumulate all those little balances into one payout to Leaf as a donation to MSG (with permission for each of us via email) to help out with this site?  I've only got $1.50, but if everyone chipped in?

Kiva donation? Great idea I'm all for it.

I've got $7.20 in my piggy bank at LO. It might be a stretch to get it to the $25.00 payout amount, but here's my portfolio link, just in case anyone finds something they can use:

And I hope they fix the purchasing problem soon. It's only right that people be able to use the tokens they've already paid for.

I have $11.70. I wouldn't mind getting some nice vectors so please PM me your port links  :)

My last sale was today and it seems quite appropriate to LO's death: http://www.luckyoliver.com/photo/1005258/shrugging-man

Good idea and I've just emailed them about this.

I've got about $15 in my piggy bank at the moment, and I'll happily donate it to any worthy cause, but to be honest I don't think any emails will get a response, I get the impression it's an empty shop there at the moment.

It is posted elsewhere that if you really want a payout you should email them.

However, common sense should dictate that if they are closing down then it's obviously due to lack of funds, and if they don't have the funds they won't be able to pay everybody.

You can convert your earnings to credits, and in theory take some images you might need instead. However I tried that yesterday to try and get somebody over the $25 and never managed to download a thing. Same thing applies of course. If everybody suddenly uses up their credits and others suddenly become eligible for a payout, are LO likely to be able to make them all?

Yeah they can keep my $12.60. I am sure our money's long gone into the R&D of the company. Brian's already lost his business. No need to make it any worse by making a fuss over a couple of buckys.

yep, I think the same about my $3. the time needed to convert/use them (and to write about in a forum ;) ) is worth more than that.

I think they said we should email to convert earnings to credits and with them buy images.

So how do I get a link to my LO gallery on the right hand side there?

A colleague told me you can only convert earnings into credits if you have US$19.  Does anyone confirm this information?

I haven't received a reply from LO support about the request of transfering my credits to Leaf.

you ask me to stick it in there.

send me a private message with your LO portfolio name and I can put it there if you want...... for the next month or so.

I was going to buy a photo on the weekend and most of the thumbnails were red x's.  Today I can't get on the site.  Is it gone?

Just looked and it loaded for me, but not everything loaded correctly.  Then after a few clicks it didnt load.
My guess would be that more people may be realizing it is closing, think the site may not be able to handle all the traffic.

Doesn't load for me either today (from France). Even a "ping" command doesn't return any answer from the server.

I'm not having any trouble navigating around LO - i'm in the us and have been online off and on all morning.

Working also for me.  No reply from support yet, however.
