When I search for images with my first and second name, I get 16 results, all link to LO, and none of the images are mine!
It seems the displayed image is one of the "similar" images (Geopappas') that is displayed under my own image.

(hope the link works)
Any of you have the same "problem"?

Hey, thanks for the free marketing  ;D

Opla

Well, I don't think too many people will be looking for my name  ;)
Still, i'ts a bit anoying to see other peoples pictures above your own name.

Same issue with me.  For one, the image picked up by Google wasn't even a similar image anymore.

I'm not even finding any of my LO photos in Google's search, but there are a lot of mine from Fotolia and Shutterstock with the same problem.  Google seems to be picking up the similar images instead of the primary image.

This is just a guess, but it might be working the exact opposite of the way that you are thinking.  You might actually be getting free marketing from my image!

Your image of the moon on LO (http://www.luckyoliver.com/photo/408970/moon) doesn't have any comments.

My image of the moon on LO (http://www.luckyoliver.com/photo/406760/full_moon_w_copyspace) has three comments.

According to Bryan from LO, Google picks up photos that have comments:

http://www.luckyoliver.com/blog/153/comment_coaching
http://www.luckyoliver.com/blog/126/More+on+Comments

So it seems that Google is actually picking up my photo as the primary, but since you are listed in the related images for my image, it also picks up yours.

So your image looks like it might be getting free marketing from mine!

What a twist of events!

Yes, noticed that too,  otoh, I have some images with comments too, surely they would have to show up aswell?

Yes, that would seem like it should make sense.  When were the comments added?  Maybe it just takes some time for them to get indexed by Google?

Opla

Dec. 1st and onwards, I have one with four comments recieverd end of januari.

BTW, what is the search that you are using on Google to find your images?

Karimala

I honestly don't think it's a LO issue...I think it's a Google issue.  SS and Fotolia don't have comments, but they do have similar images posted just like LO, and that's what is showing up.
