There's problem at Shutterstock itself.
Have to wait until they'll fix that.

Videos can now be uploaded to YouTube.

By default StockSubmitter watermark will be overlayed. You can choose your own watermark (any PNG with alpha channel will work) or turn off watermarking completely.
Any text specified in "Portfolio links" field will be appended to description of all videos.
Videos will be uploaded in original resolution.

Videos can now be uploaded to VideoBlocks.

Category in which a video will be uploaded depends on Illustration/Clip-Art/CG checkbox: if it is enabled the video will go to the Animations category, otherwise to the Footage category.

Balance checking support is not yet implemented: need some help from those who have sales here to implement it.

During 2015 we continued to actively extend program functionality and making microstock contributors life easier. These efforts were not left unnoticed: our user base is constantly growing and has reached more than 2000 active users. More than 25 millions of files were submitted using the program to microstock agencies during 2015.

Despite constant user base growth we keep our famous support quality that many more other commercial products are lacking. We are not going to compromise support quality and speed of developing and updating our services.

To achieve that we're expanding our team: we've already hired a dedicated developer for Mac OS X version of the program to let our Mac OS X users to use the program natively without the need to complicate it with virtual machines. In the new 2016 year we're planning to expand the team further to provide our users with the same high quality while developing new services. Some new services for professional users and studios are already planned to increase their earnings.

Expanding the team is of course costy and it's not possible to grow extensively like in other areas because microstock industry is a very narrow niche and it's possible size is limited.

Considering all of the above, high end subscription plans will be corrected since 15th January 2016.
Professional subscription plan will cost 40 per month and its submission limits will be increased to 1000.
Unlimited subscription plan will cost 60 per month.
Low and middle end subscription plans (Starter, Lite, Casual) will be left intact: we understand that beginner contributors and those who contribute to microstock agencies irregularly cannot allow themselves to spend more money for their work automation tool.
High end subscription users will soon have access to the new services that will (as we believe) compensate increase of the subscription cost by increasing earnings.

All active subscriptions purchased before 15th January 2016 will not be changed.

+ Implemented support for displaying captcha for Envato agencies.

+ Added a window to specify extra metadata fields (country, 3D render flag)

The window is available via "Other parameters -> Other metadata".
Country will be used for agencies that require specifying it (for example, Fotolia).
3D render flag will make program submitting the illustration as photo to iStock (according to their requirements).

+ Country remembered in the other metadata window will be used as a default country for releases if remembering all the release fields is disabled.

+ Added directory rename command in directories' context menu in directory tree.

+ Images selection control from keyboard is improved.

If leftmost or rightmost image is selected in a row and you try to press left or right arrow keys - the program will move the selection to the previous or next row automatically.

+ Selecting release in attached releases list will highlight it in all releases list as well now.

+ Drive labels are now displayed in the directory tree.

+ Vector keyword checking for raster images can now be disabled in settings.

+ Images are now uploaded to agencies in the order they're displayed in the list (sorting will matter).

+ Added "randomly" sorting method for images in the list.

+ Added an option to "Use description instead of title" that replaced an old similar option and is now working for Fotolia and VideoBlocks.

+ Added an option to specify a note for an image.

You can set it in image's context menu and view in image's popup tooltip.

+ When searchbar is opened the focus will automatically be set to the query string field.

+ You can control selected image from any program part now using Alt+Left arrow and Alt+Right arrow keys.

+ Release file orientation is now preserved when automatically downsizing releases.

+ Fixed many other small issues.

Not sure where this should go, so, I'll just give this a try.  If someone knows of a better spot, please tell me!

Feature request!

Fotolia give an option during submission that allows a user to mark their content for the free section if it is denied.  By default, it is on.  I would like to see an option for Stock Submitter to be able to turn that off.

Thanks!

Awesome! Is this in spite of Fotolia making a change in the default setting?

Their change of the default setting didn't affect the program at all. It's still submitting images with this option disabled.

+ Added support for 500px agency.

+ Attached releases management interface has been improved. There are now 3 controls:

1. Input field where you can begin entering release name. Program will start showing dropdown list with matching releases and release groups sorted by usage frequency. Choosing any of them will attach corresponding releases to files. For 1 selected release it will be added, for multiple selected releases they will replace currently attached releases.
2. A minus button: clicking this button will open menu with the list of attached releases; selecting any item will remove image from attached.
3. A button with dots: clicking this button will open releases editing and attaching window just like "Releases" button did before.

+ When submitting to VideoHive, the program will automatically cut forbidden phrases from the title:
slow motion, macro, close-up, Hd , 1920, 4K

+ Added "Show in folder" command to context menu for releases in release editing window. It will open Windows Explorer highlighting the release file.

+ Added "Force upload" command to the context menu for images, allowing to try to set "ready to upload" status for selected agencies and start uploading there.

The feature currently being tested on the Mac version is releases support.
The faster it'll get tested by users the faster the developer will start working on next feature or agency.

+ Added Service -> FTP Transfers Status menu command
The command opens a status window where you can see lists of active and queued FTP transfers.
The window displays target agency, file size, upload progress and speed for each file.

+ Newline and tab characters will no longer prevent uploading the file.
The program will automatically cut them during submission instead.

+ Added "For Nimia" metadata CSV export format.

+ Added an option to set Note for reviewer in VideoHive settings.

+ Country specified in "Other metadata" will now be used during submission to 123rf.

+ The program will now use the lowest possible compression level when preparing videos for VideoHive upload.

It should greatly speed up the preparation process.

+ It is now possible to reset agency's balance by clicking on it.

+ mp4 files can now be uploaded to agencies not supporting them

(by renaming them to mov)

+ New "Schedule" feature is launched in experimental mode.

You can plan upload or submission by right-clicking the upload/submission button and choosing the corresponding command from the popup menu.
The list of the planned tasks can be viewed using Service -> Schedule menu command. In this window you can also cancel some of the planned tasks.
The list persists after restarting the program. However, if the task launch time will come when the program is not running then the task won't be started.

Please report any problems/errors on this forum or by e-mail ([email protected]) or by skype (landofrain).

Thank you so much Niakris for implementing the schedule feature - now Stock Submitter is even more useful to me and probably loads of other users who have preferences when supplying agencies with their photos or for situations where you do not want to provide all shots of a series at once!

I will test the feature right away and report anything I should notice - for the time being thanks a lot again for being that active in regards of further developing Stock Submitter!

Hi Niakris,

I tried the scheduler and it seems to work fine. The only thing that Id notice is the fact that you can not tell if an image is scheduled for upload - a separate color for the status indication (the red, yellow and green bubbles) would be great imho - what do you think?

Some kind of indication is planned, not sure what exactly it'll be though.
Probably some icon on the thumbnail or something like that.

I thought about that too, the issue I see is the fact that a photo might only be scheduled for certain agencies while being uploaded right away to others. Hence an indication on agency level per photo might imho make more sense - thats why I proposed the bubbles.

Statuses are there for the different purpose and mixing it wouldn't be a great idea.
I'll think about this problem and hopefully will find some good solution, thanks.
