Metadata reading priority
Previously, StockSubmitter was reading metadata in the order causing least problems.
But in some rare cases some users were experiencing problems with metadata, so I've added a possibility to set some type of metadata to be readed first (EXIF / IPTC / XMP). To set it, use combobox above directory list in main program window. Default (old) order is called "Auto".
If metadata is being read correctly using "Auto" order, don't change it.
If you're expriencing some problems (metadata is read incorrectly / displayed weirdly) - try other options.

Dreamstime is not allowing submission of more than 18 images per week anymore due to high upload amounts.
StockSubmitter didn't know about this limitation and was incorrectly increasing submission counters for Dreamstime before today's update, when I've fixed it (added right processing of the error message DreamsTime is giving in case of reached limit). So if you have your submission counters increased incorrectly, PM me your StockSubmitter registration e-mail and I'll reset counter for DreamsTime for you.

For few days, there won't be any major changes in functionality of the program, because I want to make it more stable.
I've fixed lots of various bugs in past 4 days and added new crash handler, what is able to send crash reports to me, so I can fix crashes asap.
Please, if program crashes, fill in description of where did u encounter a crash and press "Send report" button. It will help me to make program more stable.

It works for me. Don't use your normal account password. Go to your upload page, click on "View your FTP login information" and you'll see a randomized password for your FTP:
Server: ftp.graphicleftovers.com
Username: YourUserName
Password: [randomized password]

No I am not, just uploaded a file on their website and it is pending validation

try again, and if it will be stuck for more than 2 minutes, close program, take "Trace.txt" file from the program directory, open it with Notepad, remove all passwords (using Find and replace) and send it to me : [email protected]
This way I'll be able to find the reason of this issue and probably fix it.

however I had the following things:
IS do not work anymore
123rf gives some error message but images are uploaded and submitted
any way to read the correct descripton on Veer, it displays only the file name?

What kind of error message you are getting with 123rf?
As of Veer, this means what files were not submitted, only uploaded.

Ok I ll take a screenshot of the 123rf when i get it again.
For Veer I go to the website to do the fimal submission but on the description field it takes the file name, I on't think it is good for the search engine.
Same thing for SS, description field is filed with the title not good for search engine again :-\

As I said, such descriptions mean only what these files were never submitted by the program, but uploaded by it.
Program sets such descriptions to identify files during submission process. It'll get replaced by normal descriptions during that process normally. If it does not, it means files were never submitted by the program.

StockSubmitter v1.2 is released.
FTP upload system is completely rewritten. It should make FTP upload more stable and way faster.
Besides that, upload statistics (progress, speed, ETR) is now more accurate.
Of course, such big update can't be released without issues and bugs. So, if you will have any issues, please write on this forum, or directly to my Skype (landofrain). And send reports ;)
Known issues:
- I am still unable to make FTP upload working for Veer. Don't know what's the reason, but it does not work even with FileZilla. If you have any useful information about this issue - feel free to send it to me :)
- GraphicLeftovers' FTP is giving low disk space error when I try to upload any file to it. Same issue with FileZilla. May be it's GL's temporary problems.

I have Veer working in Filezilla. It is set up to Explict FTP over TLS as the encryption method

There were some problems with uploading additional vector format to DreamsTime during submit.
Please re-check if additional vector format was correctly uploaded for all images submitted since today.
And keep checking for all new images submitted to DreamsTime until I'll announce it is working as supposed.

All issues are fixed, DreamsTime vector submit is working properly now.
Make sure you check if EPS is attached to files submitted yesterday though.

In the latest update:
Images preparation and submit was partially rewritten.
In result, images preparation should now work way more fast, especially in large upload batches.
Important notes:
1. Minimal resolution of vector previews for Fotolia is now 15 Mpx, like on the site. Previously, StockSubmitter was upsizing small images for Fotolia. But since this is long process, we decided to remove this functionality.
Besides that, maximal resolution of vector previews for ShutterStock is 25 Mpx. 123rf has similar hidden limitation: if vector preview is too big, the vector will be silently discarded, and will never get to unfinished list.
So, we recommend to generate vector previews in range 15 - 25 Mpx.
2. All images, uploaded before update, will not be submitted to some of the agencies after the update. Please, remove them from unfinished lists and re-upload. It is caused by change of submit method to these agencies. It affects: Fotolia, DepositPhotos, 123rf, DreamsTime, Lori.
3. We are currently discussing with CreStock slight change on their site. If we will have agreement, CreStock submit will work just like other stocks submit, and images preparation for CreStock will work fast. Otherwise CreStock submit will stay the same as now, and it will keep increasing total image preparation time.
4. Issues with video submit to CanStockPhoto are solved.
5. Fixed the problem with cloning model releases on DreamsTime.

I've been using your software along several months and it seems great for working with stock agencies!
Here are some notes:
. When I check files for uploading to 7 sites at the same time the program uploads to them simultaneously, as a result of that I get timeouts many times (low bandwith for each site). Maybe it could be better a maximum of 2-3 sites simultaneous upload, and then the other pending files... (yes, i can do it manually, ;-)
. Some times the software seems to use the thumbnail for getting data, so it keeps saying the size is too small for some sites.... and I need to close and open again stockSubmitter
. Its a little confusing checking which photos are already uploaded to which sites, maybe there should be another excel-like view with thumbnail and columns with stock agencies (sortable) for getting in the same view all that stuff

Set lower FTP thread count in program settings.
Some times the software seems to use the thumbnail for getting data, so it keeps saying the size is too small for some sites.... and I need to close and open again stockSubmitter
It can be caused by problems with reading metadata from the files.
Write to me via Skype so we can discuss this issue further

Set status to ignored for all sites except the one you want to see. Smiles in main window will show you the status for the site which is not ignored.

My setup for FTP Thread is 2.
Another one.... Depositphotos gives an error, "Login authentication failed (530)", And I've not changed my user/pass, in fact, it works fine through website... maybe something has changed.
I'll keep you updated with suggestions!
And about skype, I'm using a desktop here and I've not any microphone!, is it possible to use it as messenger (chat)??, if it's possible I'll install it...

Depositphotos gives same error when trying to connect through any FTP client. So the problem is no their side.
And yes, sure, I am using Skype as messenger mostly.

Another site that I cannot get working is Pond5, stockSubmitter uploads files fine, but they are never submitted, are you aware of this?

I've just uploaded two videos to pond5 for testing.... and one of them has been submitted, and the other one keeps without submitting when I enter in my pond5 account... it keeps in state "needs edit"...
Any idea?

It seems the program for some reason is not able to match file on the site with the file on your disk. Weird issue.

There seems to be a problem with Fotolia and Istock.
Fotolia keeps submitting even though I don't upload pictures. I filled up my account yesterday - and today I got a message that I had used all my credits...all 377 :O
(I checked Fotolia, and luckily there wasn't 377 pictures in line for approval - only the ones I had actually uploaded ;) )
With Istock I keep getting "Unknown error". Sometimes the uploaded picture is submitted, but mostly I get an error. Saying 'the site has probably changed formats. Please update to a newer version'. But there is no updates :)

I have just updated IStockPhoto support in StockSubmitter in order to address the issue you have described. It should work now properly.
Issue with Fotolia, however, was not reported before. Send me your registration e-mail (one you supplied during registration in program) using forum private messages or Skype and I'll reset Fotolia submit counter for you.
If it will happen again - message me via Skype immediately.

Some of our users are using Parallels Desktop. It works fine, you just need to install .NET Framework 2 and 4.

Submitting <33 images per month per site is free.
Submitting 34..250 images per month per site costs 10$
Submitting 251..400 images per month per site costs 20$
Submitting 401..750 images per month per site costs 30$
Submitting >750 images per month per site costs 40$
So basicly to submit 40 images per month you can either use free version and limit your submissions to 33 per month or buy any of packages to submit up to 250 images per month (1 month = 10$ per month, 6 months = 8.7$ per month, 12 months = 7.5$ per month).
Paid accounts were never cheaper than 10$/month, so i guess you either was using free account or not remembering it correctly.

No I never used free account so far always paid, but I think it was not per month before just by number of submission.
Anyway if I send 40 pictures a months does not make sense to paid $10 for it... maybe you should have more price categories between 34 and 250 started at $ 5 I think lot of people will be interested...

In the latest update:
+ ShutterStock support improved, the program now takes care about slow FTP processing on ShutterStock.
The program does not remove EPS without JPGs if ShutterStock reports there are some. Instead, it resets submit timer and tries to submit again later, allowing ShutterStock to complete processing of vector images.
The submit process may take way longer due to this change, but it should become more stable.
It is recommended to turn off Automatic FTP processing in ShutterStock settings, if this option is enabled, ShutterStock produces corrupted files sometimes.

But anyway, you need to make sure antivirus/firewall software is not blocking the program from using the network, because otherwise the program obviously can not connect to stock sites to upload and submit your images.

Launched alpha-version of new Statistics feature.
It is available in menu: Tools -> Statistics
Charts are shown in browser like that:

Earnings data has to be sent to program server to display charts, so StockSubmitter will ask permission to do that when you open Statistics.
This data will not be used in any other way and will be removed after displaying charts.
Do not permit this operation and launch Statistics if you don't trust the program.
Data collection is started in one of the last updates so charts can show only 2-4 last days yet.
More often you launch the program (or keep it running) - more detailed charts will be. The statistics is being built basing on balance updates (shown to you by the program in the balloons).
Statistics will be interpolated if there is not enough data.
There can be bugs/problems since this is alpha release of the feature. Do not hesitate to contact me using Skype (landofrain) or these forums.
There is no design yet, only the charts.

I want to ask on Alamy autosubmitting. Leaf has asked it before. It does not work also for me - program tries but nothing happens.
It would be great to add to "submit parameters" all the attributes that must be filled in order image is for sale (how many people on image, if there is property release, if the image is altered, license type ...). And it would be great that program fills the essential keywords automatically from the first keywords up to the limit of 50 characters.
Submitting to Alamy is one of the worst so it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Just used Stock Submitter for 1st time in quite a while as I'm away from home, and I have to say it's working pretty well ! Keep up the good work !! :)
Couple of small problems to report though :
1) Uploads to DT but does NOT Submit !! (waited for 24hrs)
2) Uploads AND Submits to SS but does not change icon in Stock Submitter !? stays as Uploaded only !

Are you sure you didn't rename/move/remove files after upload?
And didn't you check "Upload only" checkbox in DT settings in SS?

It is possible only if files never get submitted by StockSubmitter.
If you submit them manually you should remove that keyword.
Or just let StockSubmitter submit files automatically, it will remove this keyword during submit process.

I noticed that on some images submitted to Fotolia. Fotolia listed that keyword in the exif

No, this keyword is used to find matching file on your hard drive to submit it.
Fotolia lists all keywords from originally uploaded image in IPTC Information section regardless of what meta was supplied during submit. But this section is for your information only, it does not affect approval nor is visible to buyers.
The issue you reported with DT is weird though, it should never happen under normal circumstances.

According to reports, they have issues with the server. The server reports some "internal server error" or something like that. Just try later as it seems it works from time to time.

In the latest update:
1. New advanced keyword editor is introduced. You can click corresponding button at Keywords section in metadata to open it.
Features of the advanced editor: drag-and-drop manual keyword sorting; alphabetical and random automatic keyword sorting; removing duplicates automatically or specific keywords manually.
IStockPhoto keyword terms editor button is moved there too.
2. IStockPhoto keyword terms editor now has "memory" feature.
It works like this:
Every time you save IStockPhoto keyword terms for some file the editor remembers your choices. If you did choose other terms for these keywords earlier they will be overridden by new choices.
When you open editor for next files containing same keywords, the editor will automatically check terms you have chosen previous time.
You can turn off this feature in program settings.
3. ShutterStock uploading improved; it should improve matching EPS+JPG on the server side.
4. PixtaStock support is updated once again. Photo and vector uploading should work again.
5. Model release list columns are now resized automatically to fit content.

Only thing needed is to start processing of uploaded files and StockSubmitter does that.

Added mass keywords editing feature.
How does it work?
Keyword editing box no longer becomes empty if you select multiple files with different keywords. All keywords from all selected images are now accumulated in this box. When you edit them, you edit them for all selected files.
How can this be used?
Few examples:
- select some files, enter Advanced keywords editor, remove some of the keywords, deselect files. all keywords you have removed will be gone from ALL selected files without touching the rest.
- select some files, enter Advanced keywords editor, reorder some of the keywords, deselect files. all keywords you have reordered will have new order in ALL selected files without touching the rest.
- select some files, type in some additional keywords in the keywords edit box (or add them using Advanced editor), deselect files. added keywords will be appended to ALL selected files without touching the rest.
Beware, this functionality is new and it can contain errors. If you encounter any new problems while editing keywords - write to forum or message me via Skype (landofrain) - we'll sort this ;) To make sure problems are solved asap, please provide all possible details regarding the problem and reproducing it.

I have upgraded today. Now I see, that the "Eye-Button" for checking duplicat keywords is now to find under "advanced editor". I write my keywords in Lightroom in German language. Than an automatic translate software write the english keywords. So there are some duplicated keywords. In the past I have killed dulicates keywords very quickly. Now I must open advenced editor for every image, save, close and so on.
Is it possible to make the "Eye-Button" additionally as before? I think there is place enough?

After recent update you can just select whole bunch of files, open keyword editor, click remove duplicates and save once ;)

I have the same issue.
Could you also change keyword limitation? Currently one have only 50 (default) or 80 to choose from. I would love to limit my keywords to 30 or maybe even 20 I don't think it should be a big problem to give one more options. Also congrats Submitter is getting constantly better and more stable, thank you!
Search phrase doesn't matter even the most basic ones like cat, ear, water etc. no results!

Istock uploading seems to be broken, it keeps on submitting over and over again (goes from 100% back to 0%, to 100% again, etc.).
(Might be a site issue, though.)

However, I ask all users to follow this agency guidelines. It seems they disabled accepting images uploaded with StockSubmitter because our users were uploading their works "as is", ignoring GR requirements.
I recommend to upload some images directly to the GR website, get used to the guidelines and get your images accepted first. After that you can upload images using StockSubmitter with respect to GraphicRiver requirements.

Hello,
I am a newbie as far as uploading my photos to any stock agency. Tried to upload to Shutter Stock last week. I find that task daunting as yet. Got emails back today saying that they needed 7 out of the ten to be accepted, but not what was wrong with them. Oh well another day I guess. Am using a Canon 30D to shoot with so I think my tech things are ok as far as quality equipment. Not sure about sizes pixels wide and long but want to learn that. Any comments would help, thanks.

To pass ShutterStock exam you need to upload and submit 10 images to SS website directly.
After passing the exam, you can start using StockSubmitter to do it faster.

Make sure you are launching the program using the Start - All programs - StockSubmitter menu shortcut.
If you are launching it using any other shortcut, please remove it and copy the shortcut from the menu mentioned above wherever you want it to be :)

For example Fotolia works 100% but 123rf doesnt handle model releases.

Don't have such list at the moment, but going to improve project website soon and add some more information regarding agencies support and F.A.Q.
Of course I'll be working hard to make all supported agencies work 100% (incl. 123rf) and may be add more of them to the program :)

I can't get preview pictures generated automatically for new video files, this happened after updating the last version (probably skipped over the previous one). Pushing the refresh button does not help, tried rebooting too. Preview pictures for image files are generated normally. Any ideas?

You can generate them manually and then work with your videos as usually.

Using this feature you can send the message about upload or submission problems even if the program does not show any errors and does not let you to send the standard error report.
How to send the report: use "Service" -> "Report an issue" menu command right after you have experienced the problem. Describe the issue in the text field (as detailed as possible) and press the "Send report" button.
Send multiple reports if you want to report multiple problems.

Using this feature you can send the message about upload or submission problems even if the program does not show any errors and does not let you to send the standard error report.
How to send the report: use "Service" -> "Report an issue" menu command right after you have experienced the problem. Describe the issue in the text field (as detailed as possible) and press the "Send report" button.
Send multiple reports if you want to report multiple problems.

You can use "Automatically cut metadata if it exceeds stock limits" option in the program settings :) With this option enabled the program will use first 25 keywords for RevoStock.
Regarding to iStock, video upload does not work on their website itself for a while.

What's new:
- Photos and vectors are now uploaded via HTTP. It should solve FTP processing issues (previously sometimes files took too long to appear in unfinished section; EPS or JPG files got lost; some images got corrupted)
- The program now submits all files in the unfinished list page by page and does not stop after first page
- Multiword keywords are supported once again
- Submission process should become more stable and fast.

It depends on them only. I asked them to add displaying of original file names in unfinished media list. It would allow to make video submission possible and won't require their developers to spend more than 5-10 minutes.
However, they didn't respond yet.
You can write to their support and request the same thing (displaying of original file names in unfinished media list) if you want to speed up things.

There is error when i'm trying to upload files on any site. When i'm clicking on upload, there is info "Preparing files for upload... 0%" and then i get error with message "Metadata write error". I tried with diferent servers, and diferent files.

This basically means that the program can't write metadata to images.
1. Please make sure you're starting the program by Start -> Programs -> StockSubmitter menu or by shortcut copied from there and not by anything else.
2. If that does not help, try reinstalling the program from the website: http://stocksubmitter.com/ (http://stocksubmitter.com/)
3. If that does not help either, please contact me via Skype (landofrain) so we can try to fix it.

Well, the only difference when uploading regular RF image and editorial image is one check box "Editorial use only" on the first page just below browse.
I am not programer, but on istock you can use only HTTP (not FTP for images). So if you can check that box before uploading, that will be enough. Everithing else is the same.

Regarding shutterstock FTP, they're experiencing problems with the FTP according to another topic on this forum. I hope they'll fix it soon.

Well this code is asked by the recaptcha at shutterstock website to log in. We can't do much about it.
Normally it should be automatically solved but if it couldn't three times in a row it'll ask you for it.
You won't need to enter it again once you'll enter it successfully once.
So keep trying to enter it correctly and eventually you'll get in.

I used to be able to upload to Vectorstock despite their 30 keywords limit, and the images would get accepted even though they had 30+ keywords. The keywords would be trimmed on Vectorstock's end. Now, it's become impossible to upload because Stocksubmitter says I don't meet the requirements.
I don't feel like deleting keywords from my files solely for Vectorstock, so could you perhaps not make it a requirement?

After updating Stocksubmitter, I'm getting this error all the time,
"The program was not able to save metadata into some of the files: File XXXXXXX: Writing metadata failed: Index was outisde the bounds of the array."

Most likely I already have an example of file that reproduces your exact problem, but you can send any of files you're experiencing problems with to e-mail [email protected] to make sure I can reproduce and fix your problem among other similar.

Login process is a bit different now:
1. The whole Shutterstock login form will be displayed in a window. Login and password will be automatically set according to the program settings (it can take 2-3 seconds).
2. You will need to solve the captcha and log in (as usually on Shutterstock website).
3. After logging in please wait until the window will get closed automatically (it will happen when the page will be fully loaded). Sometimes it can take 10-20 seconds.

The program itself is free.
There is a limit of 33 submissions per month to every agency however. Submission is a process of automatic filling of categories, releases, etc. on the agency website + sending the file to the review. Uploads are unlimited.
To lift the limit you can purchase paid subscription. Subscription prices are starting at 3.33 EUR/month and can be viewed using Account -> Buy now menu command in program.

Sometimes Dissolve is having a glitch when partially uploaded file is blocking re-uploading of this file while not showing this partially uploaded part anywhere nor letting to remove it.
It may cause problems with uploading.
You can send error report (Service -> Report an issue menu command) immediately after receiving this error so I could look into your specific case.

Let me know when you'll send the report please.
As of general advices, I'd recommend skipping uploading of problematic file and going on with other files.
Most likely this file will be successfully uploaded later (after several days when Dissolve will purge partially uploaded files).

Term lists are not 100% matching between iStock and iStock ESP so the program will try to use matching values.

It is caused by the iStock answering with internal server errors and gateway errors to authorization request.
We probably have to wait until they fix that.

By default StockSubmitter watermark will be overlayed. You can choose your own watermark (any PNG with alpha channel will work) or turn off watermarking completely.
Any text specified in "Portfolio links" field will be appended to description of all videos.
Videos will be uploaded in original resolution.

Category in which a video will be uploaded depends on Illustration/Clip-Art/CG checkbox: if it is enabled the video will go to the Animations category, otherwise to the Footage category.
Balance checking support is not yet implemented: need some help from those who have sales here to implement it.

To achieve that we're expanding our team: we've already hired a dedicated developer for Mac OS X version of the program to let our Mac OS X users to use the program natively without the need to complicate it with virtual machines. In the new 2016 year we're planning to expand the team further to provide our users with the same high quality while developing new services. Some new services for professional users and studios are already planned to increase their earnings.
Expanding the team is of course costy and it's not possible to grow extensively like in other areas because microstock industry is a very narrow niche and it's possible size is limited.
Considering all of the above, high end subscription plans will be corrected since 15th January 2016.
Professional subscription plan will cost 40 per month and its submission limits will be increased to 1000.
Unlimited subscription plan will cost 60 per month.
Low and middle end subscription plans (Starter, Lite, Casual) will be left intact: we understand that beginner contributors and those who contribute to microstock agencies irregularly cannot allow themselves to spend more money for their work automation tool.
High end subscription users will soon have access to the new services that will (as we believe) compensate increase of the subscription cost by increasing earnings.
All active subscriptions purchased before 15th January 2016 will not be changed.

I tried the scheduler and it seems to work fine. The only thing that I´d notice is the fact that you can not tell if an image is scheduled for upload - a separate color for the status indication (the red, yellow and green bubbles) would be great imho - what do you think?

Try changing the password at the agency website and in program again.
They have some issue with that but I couldn't hunt it down and find how to work around it.

I fixed the recaptcha issue by doing the following:
Close SS
delete cookie as suggested above
change PW on Envato site
Launch SS and change Envato creds before recaptcha appears

Looks like an issue with their FTP server. The program is unable to upload files to /bulk_import/photos/ directory.
Try uploading manually with FileZilla to the same directory and see if it works.

You need to upload the video to Youtube with StockSubmitter first so it can be used as a video preview.
Unfortunately, if you had uploaded the video to Youtube more than approximately a month ago you will have to re-upload it as the program was not storing the Youtube video ID.
You can check if the program has the Youtube video ID stored easily by checking its CreativeMarket status - if it doesn't have it the status will be red with the corresponding mesage.
The program can add a watermark to the JPEG preview of your video (by default it is a transparent image with semi-transparent "VIDEO FOOTAGE" text). You can choose your own watermark in the CreativeMarket settings in the program.
The program can also add a link to the newly created CreativeMarket product to the description of the video on Youtube if the corresponding option is enabled in the program settings for CreativeMarket (it is enabled by default).
StockSubmitter will look for a first line with a link (any link) in the description and will insert a line with a CM product page link before it. The line will look like: "CreativeMarket: link".
If there are no links in the description the program will add the link in the end of the description like this:
"Download this and other video clips without watermark here:
link"

I allways upload a preview of file and a zip with same name, it's included files as eps, ai, txt, jpg, etc...

It is planned to add an option to add all the files with the same filename as the main JPEG file into the ZIP archive that the program prepares for vector images when uploading to CreativeMarket.
Right now you can enable adding AI, PNG, PSD, CDR, SVG in CM settings. And EPS+JPEG are included automatically.

Do you send crash reports?
Categories are saved in a custom EXIF field by the program. There are no standard fields for the Categories so they are getting transferred to the agencies during the submission step.
IPTC metadata is being read by the program as well as other metadata standards like EXIF and XMP.

How to log in to Pond5. This window with the login page comes up every 10 minutes... I select the street sign, numbers, mountains, whatever.. click Login, than the window disappears. Then pops back up in 10 minutes. Endlessly.

But the JPEG previews weren't removed or changed at all. I checked the JPEG date to be sure, the last modification date was 2013 and I'm sure the metadata was still there last year. Somehow the metadata was stripped from all JPEGs within certain folders (the oldest videos).
Not blaming StockSubmitter or anything, I'm just wondering how it could have happened.

Ever thought about adding stats to the package? I pay several hundred dollars per year for stats analysis With the level of active support you provide I am sure you could compete. You would have to provide keyword analysis, RPI, RPD, STR, matching up files across sites and the like so no small task, but a possible route for expansion of services, bringing everything under one roof.

But if the JPEGs were not modified since 2013 they couldn't be stripped off metadata? May be it is just not displayed for some reason? Can you try different metadata read priorities (top right combo box in the main window)?

The program doesn't know about sales and downloads and thus cannot sort based on that.
You can already sort alphabetically (and it is the sort mode used by default).

Maybe i can get used to this "dark" one. My main problem is that the look of the buttons give me the feeling that they are disabled, grayed-out. Probably i can get over it over time..
It's just strange for me that the "Black" skin is the one what's gone as for me it always seemed that it was the one on a higher quality level, never understood the existence of the others.

Not sure, really enjoy new silver look tho (reworked). It looks more updated, more renewed, which is good. Can you make status icons bigger? I mean, the scale is setted up to the max already, but icons are kinda small still, compared to " smileys ", which are way bigger and more easy to notice

Still looking forward of panthermedia support, german stock seems going pretty ok for us, but really wana kill my self with uploading everything manually there, the manual submitting interface there is similar to alamy, which is annoying as hell, when you have to upload like 30k images there.

I like this new colorful status bar under images. The eye have to get used to it, but it makes much more sense than just one status icon for every image.
Also I like the new function the error messages are not mixed among submission windows but grouped under the errors button. It would be even better without the blinking. Turning red and showing a number is enough alert in my opinion. Some times the same errors are repeating over and over again, and I don't want to open them all the time, as i know exactly what's there. But if i don't open them the blinking is distracting.
I would still very much like to see a function that when the focus is in the thumbnails area pressing letter key jumping to filenames starting with that letter. It would be even better if i could start to write more letters of the filename, just like in a Windows browser window.
I know that there is the working search function now, which I use a lot, but in many occasions this method would be much faster and simpler to find the file I want.

- Is it possible to have a higher FTP thread count than 10?
- 'System/Submissions over' error - I keep getting this error saying to upgrade now but i have an unlimited subscription account?
(You used all of your submissions.Upgrade your account or wait 30 days to submit more images) - Adobe Stock Login - I get authentication errors sometimes saying to login via incognito browser. I try logging in through multiple ways and restarting StockSub but still cant login. Whats the best way to get this working?

1. No, it is not possible and I wouldn't recommend going higher.
2. Make sure you're logging in with your account and not with a guest account (not closing the login window etc)
3. Open an incognito browser window in Chrome and try logging into Adobe Stock there. It should request some sort of verification.

- I'm still getting the submission error message. I've signed into my account and clicking Account/My account takes me to my login and says unlimited, but i still get the errors popping up and i dont think submissions are going through at all. Ive tried restarting the computer and relogging several times. Would restoring configuration or something help?
- Another issue is i get a dialog pop up box listing jpg previews for upload. But as there are 361 the list is too long and the box stretches from top to bottom of screen. I cant scroll down or see where to click, so i just press enter and i think its confirming. I'm running 1080p resolution and i cant resize it or anything?

Minor bug:
For a long time I see unreasonable % values from time time on the progress bar of uploads. Some cases i'm really sure that the percentages just cannot be true. In some cases it even goes beyond 100% :)
Now I caught a screenshot of an obvious case of error.
One upload had been active to Videoblocks. I started the upload of a new file to all agencies. The Shutterstock upload started with a progress percentage of over 50% immediately. The FTP status window's progress bar shows that the upload is still at its very beginning.

Yeah sometimes it is possible if the program has to do some unusual files preparation for the upload.

It's the same as the normal backup but after restoring it balance monitoring feature will be disabled.

Sometimes when I'm rendering a video file, there's a pop-up error saying it failed to generate a preview. Obviously because the video isn't complete yet, but I can't get rid of the notification window, it keeps popping up when I try to do something else. I'd like to be able to work on other files in that directory so it'd be nice if there could be only one notification with a 'don't show again' checkbox.

They have added the captcha for the authentication process. The program is now updated to support it so just restart the program and it should work.

seems it does not work still. waited few days already. I did also tryed to launch alamy and pond5 in incognito mode, to write capcha there, however it still asks for it in stocksubmitter. And you really cant do anything there, i was signed up the captcha with alamy, and 3 seconds later it pops up again, like please login and write captcha. Annoying, please check.
And what is up with updates? it says that there is 1 update ready to be installed, no matter what how many times i launch program, like i launch it, update it > close it and re-open - same thing, it says there is update, but nothing changes. Everything is started up with administration rights, first time this issue

What's the problem exactly with Pond5 for you?
For Alamy, try authenticating twice, then immediately send a report using Service -> Report an issue.
Update issue was resolved yesterday.

Could happen if something had removed some of the program configuration files.

For me it's not the smallest among the agencies I submit to.
Strange thing is that Stoicksubmitter is telling me that some contributors have successfully
submitted in the last couple of hours.
I just wonder if i'm doing something wrong, but i cannot think of what it could be

Almost everytime Stocksubmitter starts up, it says something like 'it's been a long time since you've made a backup of your configuration settings', even though I do a backup every time. The message comes back too often. There doesn't seem to be a way to turn off this warning either.

It's not about site configurations (restoring them is not really a problem usually).
It's about other data (database of uploaded images paths for submitting them, releases database, balance history). Losing all of it will most likely be a disaster.

I would recommend to have multiple backups, not just the latest one. In case one of the backups will be corrupted or something nasty like power cut will happen during writing the backup.
Besides, creating a backup takes significant time so if the program will just do it silently upon startup some users may think it hanged.

I have no problem creating a backup every week or so, but I get the popup every single time (i.e. every day) on startup, even after making a backup yesterday.
What about automatically creating a backup (like an autosave, say five backup files, and then repeatedly overwriting the oldest ones)? The program could say 'Creating backup' at the splash window.
Or at least giving users the option 'Don't show this again'? I understand it's important to backup image data (although power cuts and freezes don't happen often). But this popup window is getting annoying like a spam mail or cookie wall.

When I first asked about backups , this is what I got:
All of my files are stored on a network NAS which is 24/7 on with hybrid RAID + there are 2 local backups to computers on network. Furthermore my NAS is synchronized with backblaze so a cloud backup of FILES THEMSELVES is created. But I click on "no I dont want to backup data" at the startup of the program. Backing up files themselves is I suppose sufficient? If statuses of images by agencies are stored in files themselves then all is good. (video has a seperate file, i know).

I have a small feature suggestion:
Above the sites list there are the boxes to tick all sites at once for uploading or submitting. For the upload column there could be one more tickbox which only engages for upload all the site where Stocksubmitter can handle the submission too

Are you sure you're creating a backup successfully in response to that backup suggestion dialog?
Because if you do so it definitely shouldn't ask about it for a week.

Statuses are indeed stored in the images themselves.
However, there is other important information that you would want backed up I think. Please read my post above about that.

There is this button labelled "RT QuickMeta". I have no idea what does it do or how to use it, but sometimes i click it accidentally and then all my work in the selected file's metadata gets totally messed up. So much that i have to start from scratch. Is it's very annoying.. sometimes there is a lot of thought in properly keywording a file, then all the work disappears without any warning.
There should be a warning window coming up with that button. Even better an option to hide that button, and make it the default setting. It even took me a few occasions of just wondering what had happened to my metadata until i realized that it's triggered by clicking a wrong button.

It can happen if the QC took too long time because their website doesn't return files that were uploaded too long ago.
You could try re-uploading them or submitting manually.

You won't have to solve annoying captcha anymore: our server will solve it automatically.
Besides that, with this option enabled we now support two-factor authentication on AdobeStock (the program will ask you to enter the code from SMS) and authenticating with a code from email on Envato agencies (the program will ask you to enter the code).

IMPORTANT: Submitting FullHD versions of 4K videos to VideoHive
Latest versions of Mac OS X have stopped working correctly with videos encoded to PhotoJPEG with a non-Apple codec. Because of that, Envato has stopped accepting videos, downsized to FullHD in StockSubmitter.
We've replaced the downsizing codec with x264 in the new program update. So if you're submitted videos automatically downsized from 4K to FullHD to VideoHive - please update the program.

By update you mean just start the desktop app and it should update automatically right? If there is other way of updating please let me know because I run on version 1.5.0.1891 and today I had a bunch of videos soft rejected from videogive because of the codec error:
We're encountering an issue where your 4K videos play correctly, but your HD videos are failing to playback properly in Quicktime because they've been encoded using a non-standard video codec. We suspect you may be using Stock Submitter to downscale your 4K video to HD, and they had a bug recently that caused this codec issue. You'll need to update your Stock Submitter software to correct this issue. If you are not using StockSubmitter to downscale your footage, then please make sure you're uploading your footage in one of our supported codec options (H.264, Photo JPEG, or Apple ProRes). StockSubmitter is encoding videos with H264 when downsizing to HD at the moment.
The version you're using is correct.
Please make sure those files that got rejected were actually uploaded with this new version and not earlier.
May be you had some files uploaded earlier that got submitted later due to the limit on VideoHive?

Yes we've discussed that with them and resolved the issue already by replacing the PhotoJPEG codec with x264.
x264 is a modern codec and should work on any platform.
Probably it's a mistake on their end, I'll contact them directly to ask what is wrong.

I can't log into StockSubmitter since yesterday. The login window states, that the service will temprarily be unaivalable to users from the EU, because the platform needs an update regarding the european GDPR law. How long will this take?
