One feature I really miss in Stocksubmitter (which is by the way a great tool for managing, keywording and submitting to various sites) is the support for Editorial images: Marking photos as such, providing captions for the various platforms that support Editorial and uploading with the appropriate parameters. Any plans for such functionality?
-
This functionality is not planned yet.
If more people will request it, I think I'll find free day to do it.
-
Is the editorial support available now?
-
It is available for ShutterStock now via corresponding checkbox in Advanced submit parameters.
-
Thank you! love your program... will keep buying
-
Where is it available??
-
in Advanced submit parameters.
for ShutterStock only at the moment.
-
Thank you so much ;D

The title of editorial images for SS should include a lot of information (date location description etc..), and I get the "too long title" error.
Is there any way to fix this?
-
I think you may be using the wrong field. All that info should go in "description"
-
Yes, you are right but I notice when you put too many words on the description field it submits with the info in the title field to SS, I still dont get it :S
-
SS doesnt have a title field. Keep it under 200 characters and you are golden

There is an option in ShutterStock settings in StockSubmitter: "Use title as description".
It is on by default, but you can set it to off to make StockSubmitter using description field as description when submitting to ShutterStock.
