I tested out Stocksubmitter with Veer again today and it uploads and submits fine except for one 'small' problem, the metadata and releases are being attached to the wrong images. :(  It seems the data is one image off

Can you look into this?

It's hard to test and debug Veer submission, since you can not remove submitted images ><
When I tested it, it was working properly. So it happens not all the time but only sometimes.
Taking these two things into account, it's very hard to fix this issue.

I'll try to look into that issue when I'll have enough time for that. It can take few days ;(

Ok, cool thanks.  If I notice any patterns I'll let you know.  I'm uploading another test batch now.

Ok, thanks for help.

If I'll know how to 100% reproduce the problem, I'll be able to fix it.

ok, this is strange.

I uploaded 4 images.. the first 2 uploaded fine with correct metadata then the software received an error from Veer
I click to start uploading the last 2 again.. one image was uploaded correctly
then...
when submitting the last image, the three images that were already submitted correct were put back into the 'new' area with the metadata of the fourth image

Same here,

I've notice It seems we've to wait one to two days between two images to avoid this problem ...

Quite strange... ???

So it happens only when Veer gives some kind of error and you try to repeat submitting?

No, it happens every time I submit an image without waiting a whole day since my precedent submission.

I've no error message...

So it happens every time when you submit a file while there is another file in pending queue?

Yes, and when the last image was submitted less a day ago.

Are you using veer HTTP or FTP?

If possible, can you reproduce the problem, then close the application, take Trace.txt file from StockSubmitter application folder, remove passwords from it and send it to me?

[email protected]

That would make fixing easier.

Thank you very much! It's hard to overstate your help.
Using your detailed information and trace, I was easily able to track down the problem.

Fixed the problem and uploaded update. It should work correctly now, but it's worth testing it.

If you will test it and post here results, it would be awesome :)
Don't forget to update SS first ofc :)

Thanks Niakris,

I can't test because Veer submission is temporarily unavailable.

I will check that as soon they will be back...

are you sure ??  :)

I just tested it and it worked for four images. .. I think one image per group of images I tried to upload.  I tried to upload a group of images though and it only submitted one of them.  Then lastly when I selected a larger group of images (40 images) it uploaded them but then gave an error.  They are now sitting in the 'edit' area.

I tried to upload one more image and it is sitting in the 'new' area.

new test...
I deleted all images in the 'edit' and 'new' area on Veer
uploading 5 images
one image is uploaded and submitted properly
other images get status
  ... uploading image
  ... downloading list ...
, then uploading image again.

I now have 4 images in the 'edit' area and 1 image submitted.  The images in the edit area don't have any releases or image names applied (but their keywords aren't messed up like before)

You're right Leaf

Grouped submission seems not working...

I submitted each images individually in my previous test.

It works for me.  :)

it almost works for me :)

It doesn't make any errors now, so that is a big improvement, but...

If i click on 7 images to upload, it uploads and submits only 2 of them then stops.
I click on the remaining 5 and it uploaded and submitted 1 of them then stopped
I click on the remaining 4 and click upload and and 3 are submitted
I click on the remaining 1 and click upload and it uploads and submits the last one

Stops silently? Not even showing "timeout" at the Veer status?

no, nothing, I think it just stops.  No warnings at least.  I haven't be able to catch it at the same time it stops.

Last trial was clicking on 36 images and it submitted 30 of them.

Ok, this time I had stock submitter window active and it gave a
ImageProcessingResultParseError

not sure if that was the same problem as the other times or not.

Now it is giving me errors consistently and leaving an image or two in the 'new' area.

Yes, I've got few error reports about that.
It seems Veer is buggy atm, giving "500 Internal server error" sometimes. That's the reason why SS can't get images upload result.

I think we should wait until they'll fix it.
