I am thinking about it to . But I don�t like that all of my uploaded files to EyeEm are automatically distributed to other partners. Example to Adobe Stock or Getty. I have my files there to. I don�t want to double my files on this site. I think it would be a bad thing. On EyeEm isn�t OPT OUT Partners distribution button.

I have sales every month, most sales are for 3 dollars, sometimes more.

Eyeem doesn�t have a watermark, so I don�t feel comfortable uploading people stock or expensive stock.

But I like to take snapshots of the world around me, experiment with ,mobile stock filters and I send these to eyeem.

It � s more like a hobby. Very relaxing.

Eyeem is first of all a photo community like flickr, sales come from distribution and you get 50% of what eyeem gets. We don�t know what percentage eyeem has, so if they get 20% from getty, you will get 10. If they get 10, you get 5. But I have never received less than 3 dollars.

Sometimes they also sell direct, but I only get that two times a year or so.

In my experience, normal stock doesn�t really sell. But the overfiltered stuff does.

Mobile stock is a different genre, you�ll have to experiment to see if it works for you.

They have missions you can join and a blog where they show the style they like.

Well, it looks like they just lowered the minimum download to 2 dollars.

It was always 5 dollars, until they lowered it to 3 in April, now they lowered it again.

However they did add Adobe as a new distribution partner.

I also had one download for 58 dollars and several for 6, so I really can�t complain.

But I have nearly double the downloads than in January, but less money.

However, I am still happy, because eyeem is really fun.

the model release system is absolutely horrible.

they also just removed the ability to  upload the paper release. Now you have to send an email to every single model, every time you upload.

if you have 30 people in the image, everyone has to agree again and again and again.

It is crazy.

I just learned about Eyeem and i'm very interested.    My question is about getting a quantity of photo's up.  Have you submitted many?   since most of my iphone photo's are no longer on my iphone, what's the best way to get them from my pc hard drive to eyeem? Do i have to reload them back to my iphone, then upload?   is there a way to upload from the pc?    and then, can i use photos that were taken by my dslr?   sorry if these are simple questions, but they're not clear from what i've read so far about eyeem.   thanks

Yes you can upload them directly via their website using your laptop. EXIF data like title and keywords are copied, and keyword suggestions are made. They have an app for as well Android as iOS and it offers more functionality than their website. If your image is selected for the partner program, you'll have to complete the submission process via the app. It's all pretty easy and straightforward, except for reviewing the partner program content.

That said, I don't know how many sales you can expect. I uploaded a few hundred images three weeks back. Most of them were selected for their market, and half of them for the partner program. Until now, not a single sale.
