Photokore was only founded in 2010. I think it is to early to say that they will or will not make it. I like the concept that their focus is on the Asian market. AttilaTheNun, why do you think they won't make it?
I had a virtual chat with them and with Lee Torrens months ago. This is rather private but I will send you a PM. Their only USP for the moment is the languages since the translations on the big micros are mostly crap. China has been taken by FT's local partners and as far as I can judge, the language on those local sites is very OK and the design is adapted to the Chinese taste (much more busy, much more condensed).

Apart from that, Korea and Japan are the only countries with deep pockets plus their English sucks. So a well translated site could be a benefit but if that's their only USP, they are very vulnerable.

I get the distinct feeling that very non nun-like, "we" are very stingy in giving out any reference to any site which may cause extra competition.  ;)
Is that so?  :P (you're right).

I joined several days ago using the referral link.  It took only about 24 hours to get accepted as a contributor.  I had no technical problems with my first upload.  It's still pending.  I'm willing to take a chance on a new site and hope they can make it work.

After uploading, I did a keyword search for my photos, and discovered that over 60 did not show up. I checked, and the keywords show up in the photo, and are also included in the title. I emailed them about it. I think they have a major search engine problem and I hope they get it sorted out soon. Otherwise, it's useless to contribute there.

Just because the image is live on the site does not mean it's indexed so that it shows up in the search engine. Back in the day, shutterstock would approve your images and they would be live on the site immediately, but you would never show up in search results for at least 24 hours.

Post the file page link. I don't have any issues with stuff not showing up in the search results.

More are starting to show up now, but not all yet.
Maybe I complained too early, or maybe my email is being addressed.

I would say its just taking longer to process. This agency is going to be fully searchable in 16 languages. In theory, that might require 16 different indexing runs.

Two sales so far, a total of U$3.16. The 100.-U$ payout minimum is set too high. They should lower it to 20.-.

That will be a great improvement, I can then get a payout 2032 and not 2107!!!

They are still sending out emails to possible contributors. I got mine today. But I'll pass. Especially after the woeful results listed by others. My policy is not to upload to any site out of (my) top three. IS, SS, DT

Update: one more sale in July of $0.14 which brings my total to $3.30.

I joined but I think they will need to pay me to upload.  There's already far too many sites.  There has to be an incentive to upload now and if they have very few sales, what's the point?

I wrote them some day ago:

"Hi there!
100$ is really too much high, with the time that you need to review the images and the number of images that you sell in comparison with your  bigger competitors (Shutterstock, Fotolia, iStock, Dreamstime) I think that you should put the payoff at 20 $ or less.
Be realist and wait to have a "big" name before to have certain pretensions :)

Off course it is only my opinion.

My best wishes by the way"

We will see what they answer (If the will)

FYI
They are part of YayMicros API program, You may want to opt out at Yay if you are uploading yourself.

I wrote them something similar a few months ago - they did reply asking me to reconsider, I haven't.
For sites like this it's probably better to do it through something like Yay - You'll get less money but at least you'll get it before your grandchildren do.

it looks like a nice site...

but if there is not enough buyers..no matter how many images i upload..it doesn't make any difference..

the time i upload 1 image in shutterstock will worth it i upload 1000 images over there..

especially all seems like subs sales that's less than $1..
