Shutterlady,
In a similar way as of ichiro's post, I think new sites have to show some potential to go well, at least better than the average. Either by offering something different in price or subscription plans, or by focusing in a certain market niche, it has to offer something different.
The software you are using, for instance, is shared by many new sites, and not good ones in my opinion, so it's a bad introduction. I have browsed a few pages and I see that some submissions are of poor quality - I even saw an image that should have been rotated 90 before uploading, so it casts doubts about image screening. I also saw several images that look totally out-of-focus - are they really or is it a thumbnail generation problem? I know new sites have to be less picky to grow a portfolio, but le'ts not exagerate, or the site will start with a bad reputation.
Regards,
Adelaide
