Title: TotallyPhotos was sold
Post by: madelaide on August 06, 2006, 12:51
From the Photographer Home Page at TP

Quote
This website has been sold. As of August 6th, 2006 it is no longer the property of TotallyPhotos Limited. All rights and liabilities have been transferred to Richard Mills of Sydney Australia. Further information will follow after a short period of downtime during which the site will be rebranded. After such rebranding operations will continue as usual.

Initially the new owner plans to make limited changes to the working of the site however he is considering a number of options to increase site visibility and profitability.

TotallyPhotos Limited would like to thank the photographers for their contributions and hard work on the site so far and wish the new owner and all the photographers all the best for the future.

The TotallyPhotos Team.

What I wonder about this site is what has happened to all the photos which were submitted, who has them and what are they doing with them? Anyone have any answers?

I'd like to know... I had about 50 images up there when they sold it. As I remember the owners were pretty involved in the forums pushing it, but it never materialized into anything...

I tried tracking this down when it happened. Didn't get very far. Allegedely, th enew owner was going to have the site up in a few weeks. As you know, nothing happened.

The domain is still owned by  United Communications Limited ([email protected])

This is a  a hosting service.

I remember they gave us the name of the new owner, and doing an internet search all I could find with that name was a maestro of the Sydney Opera...
