Hi Stock Folks,

I wanted to know how important is that my White Background, on isolated objects, to be 255 in all areas? I used the curves with with white dropper and usually get around 250 on most of my White Background- is this good enough.

Also if you do want to isolate the object it the pen tool much better than the magic wand tool?

Thanks.

Tom

I use levels to take to 255 , stockfresh will reject you for a mix of 250-255. Other sites depends on reviewers mood on the day :)

This will really help me. Cannot thank you enough! I just watched a video to show you how to check the White Background and how to make it 255. Awesome and I am very lucky that a lot of my photos were accepted as an 'isolated' object...

yes, it is important that white is 255

otherwise, it's not isolated on white, it's another concept: a grey background is perfectly acceptable in some shots but near-white is useless
