I own nikon D70 and Nikkor 50mm f1.8 lens ( looks like just like this http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/800778841-USE/Nikon_1436_Normal_50mm_f_1_8_AIS.html (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/800778841-USE/Nikon_1436_Normal_50mm_f_1_8_AIS.html) )
I have one question - which auto functions can i use with this lens? I read somewhere that metering should work - but i didnt dicsoverd how...anybody has a experience with this stuff?
Ken Rockwell's page here (http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/compatibility-lens.htm) lists compatibility of all Nikon models with different Nikon lens types back into ancient history.
Yes i know...and today i finally figured out - D70 meters focus - IM sooo happy :D Yes i know it is not automatic but it is great!
One of the things I really like about Nikon is how a lens from the 1960s is still good to go on the latest DSLR and will often produce fantastic results.
Thats what i like about it too. Photos are just great, more sharp than my kit lens.
