Title: Building a HTPC

I am wanting to build a home theatre PC - does anyone have any good suggestions for parts.

I have found a few discussions on the net about good set ups but thought I would ask here too to see if anyone had any thoughts or special "watch out for" or "I like this" suggestions

I am wanting a BlueRay player, wanting it to send out HD quality sound and video, store files, connect to cable TV (that part will vary for each country, but I think I found a CAM reader for Norway), and I will probably use Windows media center.

It's not exactly what you are looking for but you might wanna take a quick peek at Xtreamer (http://www.xtreamer.net/).

Yeah, something like that could work except... it doesn't have a BlueRay player and you can't connect it to local cable.

A Sony Playstation III would almost work except you can't connect it to cable.
