Hi,

Chromecast just arrived in France and I ran to buy it, I'm loving using it to broadcast from my iPad. Dunno if any of you use it, but problem is you can't broadcast directly from a video player software to the TV.

Searching on the web I found out that RealPlayer video is back, and they're doing the same cloud storage thing as Dropbox, but only for videos.

Thing is, you can upload videos to the RealPlayer Cloud and then cast them to Chromecast from their app...

I share with you the link, and as dropbox, both of us get 1gb free storage space from affiliation https://cloud.real.com/r/vLjqSP

So if any one of you struggle casting HD videos to Chromecast, that's a nice work around.

If I'm not mistaken, you can use the Plex app which has Chromecast support to do the same thing. Just another option!
