It's actually been renamed the Khalifa Tower (after Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahayan bailed Dubai out by giving them $10 billion).

  No thanks! I'm terrified of heights and the idea of falling, so I'd probably have a heart attack. I bet they make a lot of money though!

Not at all. They are often underpaid Filipino migrant workers there in the Gulf states. On the Bahrein-Manila flight (4 times a year), I heard my share of unpleasant stories.

Dubai is sketchy...they essentially use a modern version of slave labour, and they end up living on the outskirts with little money

I wonder who's going to pay for those windows to be cleaned when Dubai run out of the $10 billion they have..

given that the building cost over a billion and is not even 75% full, its definitely fun to watch how this is all going to FAIL
