My computer has been crashing since yesterday night.  I can't imagine what is causing it, but at least now I am using it (disabled some start-up and processes at MSCONFIG /STARTUP).  It's not a fun way to start the new year in 4h from now, but anyway:

H A P P Y  N E W  Y E A R  !!!

Happy new year. never stop shooting !

Now that is funny. Making the best of an apparent bad situation. But then there was someone who took the picture of the person taking the picture?  ;D

I am sure this guy is a microstocker with his 5D MarkII. I already see the description: Happy paramedic from patient view (XXL)

Incredible: the caption to that pic reads:
"AP photographer Emilio Morenatti takes pictures as he is carried on a stretcher out of the University of Maryland Medical Center's R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center to be transferred to the Kernan Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation Hospital in Baltimore, Tuesday Aug. 25, 2009. Morenatti, whose left foot was amputated after a bomb blast in Afghanistan, was transferred Tuesday to a rehabilitation hospital in Baltimore, where he will be fitted for a prosthesis." • Lighting problem(s)
  • Focus not where we feel it would work best
  • Trademarks visible (yourimage.jpg) - "O" in EOS copyrighted by iStockphoto
  • Category "body parts missing" seems not entirely relevant to the image
  • Property release required for the stretcher
  • Released Model does not seem compleet
  • Not newsworty and/or Dateline missing. Please refer to ShutterStock editorial submission guidelines: only Obama headshots are News
  • Laceration too rough or too feathered
  • Canon artifact visible at full size. Please use Nikon or Samsung cellphone
  • Cropping and/or framing limits usability: feet missing
  • Image invites slanderous use: photographers are not always obsessed
  • These keywords seem not to be entirely relevant to the image: sexy, beautiful, woman, boops, lingerie, bra, landscape, business, outdoors, nudity, success, waterfall.

When you can correct these problems, please feel free to resubmit this image for adding to our dollarcent bin. Thank you for using iSuckphotos.  ;D
Happy Newyear.

I wanted to share a bit of this gorgeous party.  Unfortunately my low view point was not the best, but my mother isn't able to go to the rooftop...

Although we had a beautiful night here in Rio, the end of the year and New Years night were horrible in some areas of our state.  Over 50 people died in landslides, diminishing our joy.
