Hi everyone,

I sent my picture to a contest and I want to win. Could you please help me? One can win a trip, I never really traveled and eventually I could visit my family abroad. The topic is photo from your holiday. You can vote once a day. Thank you very much! You can vote here, my photo is a photo of the Eiffel tower:

You registered here today? Why would we take our time and vote for you, when we not even know you?

I think the Eiffeltower by night is copyrighted.  Google it...

I think the Eiffeltower by night is copyrighted.

It is. But it's allowed only as editorial on DT. About 100 of those online there. Every tourist that passes by Paris rushes at the photo op spot in large cohorts, and takes the faut faire shot of it. I wouldn't call it exactly an original travel photo.

The guy obviously wants to travel, and I f I can help I will give my vote. It will take few seconds of my time and it will bring great satisfaction to him if he wins. But that's the way I see things. I don't care if he registered today because he obviously sent this photo first, and then started to search different forums to ask for help.
I think it's not important if this image contains copyright. When I send my photos to competitions, even international competitions, copyright is not important. I can send anyone and anything, from people shots to object shots without any MR or PR. That's the way it works in artistic photography. :)

Whether he's new here or not doesn't bother me, the eiffel tower being on a slant does though!

He is an illustrator on Dreamstime. So that makes him a colleague, not just a spammer. Of course he got my vote, I hope he wins his trip.

I hear you. Well I planned some shoots with "slants" later this month, but when I upload her MRF to you, I will make sure the cellphone number on there is the one of her very jealous boyfriend.  :P

No, not. I just Googled  :P
Well you don't have to apologize since I had the same initial reaction. But the "slant" got my attention  ;)
I was born far too curious, sigh. And you know what happened to the curious cat.
