I'd like to share this song with you guys. The song is in some kind of arabian-hebrew-mediterrannean style no matter Armenia and Serbia are orthodox christian countries (basically), and maybe some of you won't like it because it sounds too oriental, but something in this melody really touches my soul and make me weak in some way, and they sing it beautifully.... The music is written by this young Israeli singer Boaz Mauda. The girl who sings first is Serbian singer Jelena Tomasevic, and other girl is Sirusho from Armenia. Lyrics are written by Israeli president and Nobel Peace Prize winner Shimon Peres.
This is the first performance of the song, and here I found lyrics for you.

Time to pray

Jelena Tomasevic:
O my Lord, its time to pray
When a new sun shines, make hay
Save my land from deserts day
Call the oceans, salt to melt away

Sirusho:
Pray blue sky
Pray flower in the field
To make the pain go away
And let the child smile carelessly

Boaz Mauda:
Wake up, come to our homes
Like eagles we spread our hands
Filled with nightingales and all that is good

Sirusho:
Smile little child

Oh My Lord, its time to pray,
When the new sun shines, make hay,
Save my land from deserts day
Call the oceans, salt to melt away

Jelena Tomasevic:
For us, my heart prays,
To grant us peace and to guide us

Sirusho:
Our Lord, we are praying
Clean our souls from the merciless evil

Boaz Mauda:
Wake up, come to our homes
Like eagles we spread our hands

Sirusho:
Our Lord, we are praying
Clean our souls from the merciless evil

Jelena Tomasevic:
Pure heart prays to God
To grant us peace and to guide us
Look at us, save us
Make all the pain go away

Sirusho:
Save my land from deserts day
Call the ocean, salt to melt away

Boaz Mauda:
How pretty the olive trees have become
Like perfumes, the house is wrapped
Daughter of the generous, with beautifull eyes
And Ill sing to you out loud

That's beautiful, Whitechild.  I am glad you gave us the lyrics, otherwise it would be impossible to understand.  :D  I love when people different ethnicites get together for something positive - a song, a movie, a documentary - especially if they are of conflicting nations.  It just shows how people can coexist and respect the other if they wish.

Amen!

..... and may I add: If only our governments (all of them) could be as nice as the people they govern, I think many of the world conflicts would end.

Through the arts (music, photography, etc.) we see, feel and understand each other; that is how it should be.
