Title: printing poster upsizing or not?
Post by: MicrostockExp on December 21, 2008, 13:37
Hi there,

I am about to send one of my file to print for a 50*75 cm poster(22.15*22.53 inches). My file is 10MP (3648*2736 pixels)
When I use genuine fractale to get a 50 *75 at 300 dpi I need to upsize to 589 %
Is it the correct way to proceed ?
Thanks fro your help
L

I think it will be OK. If you look at the poster from 2meters distance  ;D ;D

It depends how it will be produced, if itīs printed with a plotter you only need 72 dpi (better result with 150pi) if you print it offset it should have a minimum 200dpi.

I dont know but it is a cheap lab so probably 200 dpi will be more than enough:)
Thanks for that
