Hello all,
At PM, I get a box for transfer of remuneration asking :
" I am selling my images at PantherMedia...

(o) privately without the intent to realize profits
(o) commercially (corporation or tax liable person) "

In fact, I don't really understand the fine details here.
What is the involvement of ticking?
It appears there are people selling images here, and not intended to realize profits?

I think it's a bad translation and is probably asking if you're a business or an individual for tax purposes.

Hi all,

we are liable to report the income to the German Tax authorities based on the double tax treaty with the respective country the photographer lives in. By asking the question, we can identify if the income is commercial or private. However, this tax has to be paid anyway, but you can report it to your tax offices or you get an exemption from the German tax authority (depends on the double tax treaty between Germany and your country). We will help you filling out that form and then we can pay out up to 100% of your payout. Please contact our support for help, we are happy to help you to get 100%!
