I just made a tutorial covering my favorite photoshop shortcuts.  Anyone else have favorites I should have included?

I also like Ctrl+J for duplicating a layer and use the tool shortcut keys a lot (B) for brush etc.

I seem to use Ctrl_H  (PC) a lot to hide or show selections or guides while I work on an image.

If that makes you jealous how about this. Same shortcut and drag up or down will change the brush hardness

ctrl-alt-right = size
shift-alt-right = hardness

Can somebody know short cut how to select different gradient. OK selecting basic Gradient tool is letter G but how to select eg Radial or other type of gradient only with keys, without clicking?

Also is it possible to select in that way eg if you are on brush tool to select Darken or Multiply option for brush tool?

Yeah, those would be nice.  Haven't found anything on that either.

Ctrl+alt+right+(up and down) - softness
Ctrl+alt+right+(left and right) - size
Shift+alt+right - color picker

EH old topic and I finally find shortcuts for Brush and how to change from normal to Darken or multiply.
Ok hope everybody knows B is shortcut for Brush
On MAC CS2 version to change brush from normal to darken is SHIFT+ALT and K
For Multiply is SHIFT+ALT and M
You can tray other letters and you can give different Modes for brush.
Hope this works with all CS versions and for PC too.

This works with other tools eg. Healing brush, Clone stamb ...

for brush resizing, just hit the bracket keys.  The left one shrinks and the right one expands.

I had occasion to reinstall CS4 after a virus hit my OS, and after the reinstall, any time I click on any of the tools, it opens up all of the tools available under that particular category, i.e., when I click on the spot healing brush, it opens up the view to select the healing brush, patch tool, and redeye tool.  This happens regardless of whether I left-click or right-click.  Before the reinstall, I could left-click on a tool, and it would give me the last tool that I used in that group.  If I wanted to change to another tool in that group, I would right-click on it to display the other tools available in a particular group.  I would really like to get that back, but I haven't been able to find any such setting.  Can anyone help me with that?
