Is there a batch edit option? If not, is it worth uploading and individually editing every single image?

do they have batch editing capabilities?

You can create a template and then I think use the template for batch edits. Havent tried it yet though. I just make sure all the data is in IPTC and I use batch edit to set the price. works for me.

There is no photo editing template, only video audio and software

ugh - well, sorry, but I'm not spending hours uploading. if they want our work, it's gotta be easier than that

It's not that big a task, if you upload small batches.  I upload my best selling images to sites first.  As most of us make most of our money from the best 10% or less of images, getting them on a site can trigger some sales.  Then it doesn't feel like such a chore uploading the rest.

I haven't had a lot of stills sales with P5 yet but someone downloaded a few one day and with 50% commission, it beat some of the lower earning sites.

Judging by the poll results you would need to contribute to all 20 of those sites to get close to the same income you were making before.  Besides that Pond5 seems like one of the good guys with 50% royalties and you can sell your work for more than a quarter.

Exactly why I have been promoting them, Tickstock. Volume is still an issue but my images are priced from $10 to $20.  I recently had a $20 sale with a $10 commission.  Yesterday I had two downloads, not as big, but made $6.  That's as much as I make on Stockfresh in a month. When people call a sits "fair" because they offer 50% royalties, that only half fair :o  It's the sites like P5 who place the pricing responsibilities in the hands of the contributor, also putting the onus on them to price their images competitively.  It's kind of a shared responsibility.  And I believe that on P5 buyers can simply purchase one single image and not have to invest in packages (subs or credit), making it a very attractive buyer alternative to some other sites.

Sorry, I didn't know the template was not available for photos. I just uploaded my first photo batch two weeks ago and didn't try to use a template.

I hope they improve the interface. The sooner they do it, the more great stuff they will get.

I've created video template and it works just fine for me when applied on batch of photos (for setting price etc.).

The Video Template doesn't allow you to set the same price for all sizes. Bummer!

Not here.  It tells me my first image is a sound clip and fails.

I have started uploading to pond5 a while ago, no file is online yet as the review process seems  takes very long.To be honest uploading process hasn't been very pleasant especially until you figure out how things work there but I will definitely give them a go. Let's see.

^ you're faster than me. I have 300 uploaded, and I haven't gone back in since I realized I have to go through them one by one. ugh, I'll tackle it at some point, the royalty rate is good enough to lure me, but there's really no excuse for a bad upload system today.

I didn't go through them one by one.  Is there something you have to do that for?

On that main upload page, you can just select all and set the price, send to queue, etc.
