Amazon - any sales there?

I noticed a lot of products on Amazon without Best Sellers Rank. I know that BSR based on sales. No sales, no sales rank. Therefore I have a question. Does it make sense to sell on Amazon?

I don't know exactly what your question is about. What I can tell you for sure is that there are endless microstock images in use on Amazon that are not properly licensed. Often an extended license or an API would be necessary, but it is almost never licensed correctly. Probably because the license terms are not read.

I am also sure that the ranking of the images would be much better if, for example, they were licensed according to API. In reality, however, an image is bought by subscription for a few cents and then used an infinite number of times.

If it's one of the POD sites, they don't pay for the license, until something is sold. They use the thumbnails for free to advertise.

Really? Do these people have inventory or are they shops like FAA that have an Amazon store. Highly unusual.

I've been selling on amazon for over 20 years (collectible comics & books) and have been waiting/hoping they'd provide a means for digital sales

Yet my paid account, I sold two puzzles of just my usual things like an Indycar race and something else. I thought evil, puzzling, puzzles would be a good Holiday item. Oops, I was wrong again.

I'm not going to say this is a good or viable way to make money or her blog post is 100% accurate, just that, the answer is out there.

Photographers and graphic artists can also use Amazon�s marketplace to sell digital downloads and generate passive income via Amazon Merch. It allows artists to upload designs and create products with those designs, including t-shirts, mugs, pillows, and more.
