Veer / Re: New Veer partner imagedirekt.de

I agree, but I'd like to know a bit more, especially how much of the prices we see on the website will end up in our pockets if our images are licensed. I.e. what is your cut, what is Veer's cut.
Check out the Veer site, they have it in their FAQ:
http://www.veer.com/more/contributor/faq/royalties-payments/what-is-the-royalty-structure-for-images-sold-through-veer%E2%80%99s-api/
Thanks for the hint. I thought there might be some special arrangements.
So we are getting the exact same $ amount for an image sold via a partner site as on Veer. Not too bad, but as prices are a bit higher on your site (Veer charges 10 credits for a large size, that is - depending on credit package size - between 6,1 and 11, you charge 12,57) that is another bit of customer money that is withheld from contributors.*
But that seems to be unavoidable with all distribution schemes. Let's hope that this will increase sales volumes (and as you are in Germany, any business you take from Fotolia would be highly welcome ).
* I know some people will now again comment that percentages don't count, because you can't pay bills with percentages. My view is different. The overall (global) yearly budget of all image buyers combined is - at least to a certain extent - a fixed amount. If a bigger part of this budget is spent on sites with low percentage royalties, the total amount of money paid out to contributors will decrease. Even if those sites can boast a high RPD because of high prices. That is why I think in the long run percentages matter more than high dollar amounts per sale.
Our prices include VAT, I think the prices from Veer don't. So you have to deduct 7 percent.
