Even if it's not a very outstanding collection... who has kept the sales of a portfolio of millions of images?

Adobe Stock / Re: Introducing the free collection from Adobe Stock« on: June 13, 2022, 14:36 »
I only ask Adobe that if it is going to change the commissions with the photos as it has done with the video or to modify the income of the subscriptions in the style of Shutter and istock, that must be notify NOW of any change so as not to have one-year commitments with them and delete the photos to upload them to other more profitable exclusive sites, what's more, any changes made during that year should be grounds for removing the free photos collection.

I ended with video with the shutter, Istock and now adobe scam. I make more money by saving my time and taking down my online and physical storage sites for tedious video

General - Top Sites / Re: My first month with Freepik !« on: May 02, 2022, 13:21 »I made the mistake of uploading some of my photographs to Freepik in 2018, around 130 files, and I have still not reached the 100 eur payment threshold. I expect to reach it maybe next year. Ridiculous. Remember that when you close your account with them, the photos will remain in their agency for a year without you seeing a penny 10
General Stock Discussion / Re: Stock photography less interesting for me« on: May 02, 2022, 11:23 »To me it's a challenge. All the whining about 10 cent sales is a waste of time. Wow, at a 30% return on market you'll soon be able to pay stockperformer and have some money left over. 11
General - Top Sites / Re: My first month with Freepik !« on: April 23, 2022, 12:09 »
Currently, according to contributors who post their numbers, freepik pays 0.075 cents per download.
The monthly fee is 7.50 euros for the buyer if you contract for a whole year. If they pay 50%, to make it round, let's say the unit price per download must be 0.15 to balance the accounts. 7.50 divided by 0.15 $ is 50 monthly downloads on average, which is what paying users must download to maintain these payments (66 downloads if they pay the monthly fee of 10 Dollars) If the average number of downloads of the average registered user is higher, I am afraid that Freepik hides downloads or limits them in some way. It is very easy to download more than 50/66 photos in a month. Giving life to any agency that is a small supplement to the income of the 3 or 4 big ones favors that the competition is always lowering prices and commissions. We are selfish and we get what we deserve. 12

instead of copying the bad decisions of other agencies, adobe should make some exclusive content program, the microstock begins to be very disgusting in the rest of the agencies

Dreamstime.com / Re: Dreamstime makes an automatic move of images to free section« on: April 16, 2022, 05:02 »
Thanks to your comment I have seen that now the general tone has changed and effectively, if nothing is done, the image goes to the free section. I can not allow that. I can't spend time on Dreamstime in any way or have to keep an eye on it. It is a waste of time.

If Adobe created some kind of exclusive collection where they paid us 50% of the download price and better positioning, I wouldn't waste my time with more agencies for certain photos.

General Stock Discussion / Re: SS Account Suspended, $1400 Earnings Gone« on: October 16, 2021, 04:47 »
I had a similar problem that was resolved in three days. I worked with a German macro distributor and when I closed my account with them, due to a shutter or distributor error, the images were still online at shutterstock premier. They closed my account and I had to investigate the repeated photos (they did not send me thumbnails but thanks to stock performer I got what images were by ID) I sent a lot of emails with RAW, model contracts ... and I was very insistent. Finally my account was re-established.
I always charge shutter every month and despite not going up much I had 500 dollars that month by that date, finally my money appeared 23

Why don't you pay us a monthly salary? The commissions thing no longer makes sense. Give me a salary for every x photos and sell them however you want.

General Stock Discussion / Re: 7 Reasons Why Microstock Photography is (Probably) a Waste of Your Time« on: March 21, 2021, 13:44 »
I am very unmotivated with Istock and Shutter. I can't imagine taking photos to sell them at 0.02 or 0.10 ... and on top of that with crazy rejections, different requirements, tedious loading and indexing processes ...
The problem with the covid photos is that the difficulty is greater, the cost is the same as models without a mask and when the pandemic ends, those photos will stop selling at once. 25
