I haven't uploaded to SS for a while and that's why I remember how many photos I have. Yesterday I noticed that 9 photos disappeared out of my collection of ~8,000 photos. Anyone else?

Adobe just sold 2 photos that were rejects last week by SS for Focus: The main subject is out of focus or is not in focus due to camera shake, motion blur, overuse of noise reduction, or technical limitations of the equipment used (e.g. autofocus searching, camera sensor quality, etc).

I found some old images last week from a vacation in Portugal in 2009. Shot with a Panasonic Lumix FX33 if I'm not mistaken.
They were bad. I mean the images. The vacation was great actually.
Snapshots with a point and shoot standard end consumer camera and looking at the images, it's clear that I had no idea of what I was doing.
But you know what? Screw it. I uploaded a few shots which I think are still half-useful. Even did some post-processing on those old dusty jpg's.
BAM. All accepted by Shutterstock's evil Hal 9000.

I started doing more and more sky replacement, but don't see a big difference in sales. Sometimes I manage to upload the same photos with different sky, but sill not much difference. I guess if your photos is not on the first page of search results it will be not sold. It's kind for fan for me than profit.

The same for me. I have one Single sale this months for almost the same amount as all others 10 cents sales. I would earn less than on Adobe without this sale.

Instead I use my Apple 11 Pro Max. for my alternative, always have on me camera.
It does a great job, my images get accepted by all agencies I use and they sel
It's funny but 99% of my photos taken with iPhone are being accepted, while rejection is much higher for DSLR camera.
