SSTK is down almost 4% today on the heels of GI's announcement to make their 35 million files available for free.
It will be interesting to see where it goes from here. Does it recover, or is last week's high of 103.01 going to prove to have been the top?
If I had to bet, I'd be selling here.

I think quality stands up for itself no matter how many of the same concept there may be. I say just keep on plugging along and your sales will do the same But then again I am the best so my stats don't count Admin note - please do not add images to every post.

the reality is, that I DO sell pictures out of a search for the latin name.
Like maybe 2 times with each picture. Which is not sustainable in stock.
But I sell many more pictures from nature, IF they have other qualifications, like beauty or a concept.
This sanderling wont do, there is no concept, and the bird in it self is boring, or worse.
Take a photo of vulptures instead, feeding on a dead carcass and photoshop some dollars into it, and you have a stock photo.
That is an Awesome idea! Just make sure you do not have your pet vultures snacking on a Bichon Frise! by the way your bird photo is out of focus at 100%

Thanks Cobalt Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and your family I can not say loud enough I LOVE SHUTTERSTOCK!!!!! I say when it drops BUY AS MUCH SS STOCK as you can afford! I believe in SS whole heartedly and think they are only going to do Better and Better As of right now they are up 142.03% from when I bought mine Yeeeeeeeee Haaaaaaaa Its a Happy Day in the Ledray House Hold. I once had 100 shares and sold them with good profit. Of course now when I look at the stock price...but I have no regrets. I 'd rather take profits once to many then be disappointed if a stock drops.
I wouldn't mind getting back in, but I am really not sure about the timing. PE looks pretty high at the moment.
With SS you can be a shareholder and make additional money instead of just working with your portfolio.
Plus you get published business data to see how they are doing. That is useful for all contributing artists.
