That's crazy! I love it!

It's pretty sad when companies have to buy faces to match up with their testimonials... Makes you wonder if the testimonials are real!

What does everyone think about having the choice of where the watermark appears on each of your images on 123RF? While I think it's a good idea, I'm not looking forward to going through my whole portfolio one photo at a time... See here after you log into 123RF

What would you do in this instance, would you complain to the agency? You can bet everything that you own that I would report it!! Don't let them get away with it!

I may send some of my rejects to them, like I do with SXC.

After looking back at all of my numbers, September was BME here, too.

So we may have to work on either splitting categories or adding subcategories. PLEASE split into different categories!

Couldn't a period of trial and error pretty much equate to 4 (or however many) years of school without the price tag?

The noise is definitely an issue. Be sure that your camera is set to the lowest ISO setting possible. Also, on the train, where you removed the name of the company between "Short line" and "Operations" is very noticeable. Try to make sure that the pattern matches the rest of the train after cloning.
Hope that helps!

I wonder if they consider the horrible sales a bug?

While there is quite a bit of talk about subs eating all of the downloads, there will ALWAYS be per-credit sales. There are thousands of developers just like myself that don't do the volume of business to need a sub plan. I buy credits as I need them and there are plenty of other that do the same.
While most of the big buyers use subs, I really think that they might not have purchased anything at all on a pay-per-credit site.

Two years ago a 20 images upload to SS brought a lot of sales on the next few days, today it doesnt. That certainly isn't true for me. I've recently had 2 of my best days ever back to back there after uploading a new batch.

I don't know a whole lot about 3d modeling, but I do know that in just under a month I've had 16,623 views and 2 sales. When I do a search for something and search only photos, a HUGE percentage of the results are renders or illustrations. I'd really like to see them do something about that.

It seems a bit different to me moving electrons around than buying paper, printing on it, binding it, addressing it an distributing it to various locations. Magazines are expensive to produce, where a single photo can be made much more cost-effectively.

I don't have enough sales on 123 to notice ANYTHING going on. LOL

How could we go about getting that changed? I don't have the ear of anyone at FT (or any other agency for that matter!) so I know that they won't listen to me!

non-exclusive contract It looks like you are just on a probation period of 45 days, but your photos are NOT exclusive based upon what you posted. I haven't read their agreement and don't submit there, so I can't be sure though.

I submit the same photos to all agencies and my sales are terrible at 123. Not sure why... But then again, I do great on FT where lots of people report sluggish sales.

The reason that I think there is so much potential in vectors is the ability to create something that doesn't exist, rather than capturing an image of something in the real world...
When StockXpert used to have a monthly contest, vectors were regularly chosen as winners.

I buy photos as well as create them and I NEVER use categories. When will the agencies learn that they are a waste of our time??

I would have answered the poll but I don't use any of those Same here, except it's Photo Mechanic for me.

I've been using Photo Mechanic lately and I love it! The ability to create as many master keyword lists as you want is a huge plus for me. Plus built-in spell check! Available in PC and Mac...

I'm doing the same and would be interested to see the results as well. It seems to me that vectors sell VERY well.
