They image processing does not work properly. Gives an error on a half of images I tried to upload. These images has been submitted everywhere so I do not think they are broken.
I'm having the same problem
I had the same problem. Only one of the 10 images uploaded successfully without an error. After many frustrating hours of re-uploading I discovered that the keywords of all the images that return an error were entered with Irfaview. The one that made it through I used PixVue. I had to edit all my images using PixVue to re-enter all my keywords and after this the files uploaded with no problems.
All 10 images were since accepted.
Thanks Eco, deleted keywords and descriptions from files that I used infraview and loaded okay. Waiting for review Brian, I believe infraview is a very common keywording tool, can whatever bug in reading IPTC data be fixed to allow upload of files edited with infraview ?

It took me a while to find it as well.
You can go to http://contributor.veer.com/ and click on Register in the upper right corner.
The direct link is: https://ideas.veer.com/register
Thank you Goldy...
But its strange why link is in use before 8th of June...
And we have to find it...
I get to page where you hit the link to become a contributor I hit the link and it half loads the next page and then says internet explorer can not open page with an error box. Any ideas ?

I'm taking a look at the editorial section in SS.
For travel stuff looks OK.
But.. it's not clear to me how much are they gonna pay me for XL images (let's say around 5000x4000px) ?
And most important, do they pay in time ? Is editorial selling well on SS or it's only good for micros ?
For new contributors 25 cents no matter what size You'd be better of flipping burgers I've been told Who was that again I can't remember ?

Did you ever see this rant? http://www.luminous-landscape.com/essays/micro-payment.shtml
lol that rant from the luminous landscape (I actually like that site and learnt alot from it) was the first time I had heard of this evil microstock. "nothing to see here" move along. you only make pennies for all your hard work,

what a pain, I loaded about 10 photos ages ago to Snapvillage, got one sale subcription in ages and wasn't wasting my time with them.
Then they announce change to Veer, sounds good, so I started uploading my whole portfolio 5 by 5. I had some spare bandwidth and thought I'll give these guys a go. (I even got a $17.80 commision on one sale with the new content) Get my portfolio on there , then I get a email saying "not good enough" Why were they accepted onto Snapvillage (after the plan to migrate stuff to Veer) at all if my portfolio isn't good enough ?
edited for clarity

Greed is what has put the world into this economic crisis. This might be another argument in favor of an organized microstock union or group that can do some work to ensure everybody is ethical and honest.
Every period of economic expansion is followed by a period of economic contraction. It seem the majority alway forgets what Newton said, " What goes up must come down!"
The problem is unethical and dishonest behavior! We should all want more and better! Too many socialist think greed is to want more than your neighbor. We do not need a union or socialist, that was tried and failed. It was called the USSR.
Yeah that's right all unions have failed, the USSR collasped therefore the local unions representing workers has also failed. Failed by ensuring minimum wages, safety standards and holidays so they can spend time with their families. Hey I agree unions aren't perfect, aren't suitable for everybody or situation. I understand your point but claiming the failure of the USSR is anyway related to a microstock union is a bit far fetched. I think if you called it an "association" rather than a "union" alot of people would have different opions.

I hope they keep it the same as last month, best month at IS for ages. # sales has reduced at Istock over time for me even though I have increased my portfolio though royalities have increased due to increase in credit price and size per photo.

125,000 images he could start his own stocksite. I'm sure it must be a glitch, nobody could load that many photos, how many does yuri have with his team to do the work.

15 cents per download would cover those thousand but you need to remember the 10,000 that he can't get on there need to be included as well
I'm sure he makes a profit but Just think he might have outgrown the pond and needs to expand into RM,Macro etc for the expensive shoots.

$20 per image and 720 hours I can see the problem. if your costs are that high and your getting 20% or 30 cents that's a lot of sales to get to start to break even.
It will be about 4 years before he can get them onto Istock along with the million he must have waiting in the que to get on there.

Overall up 50% on Jan
IS 39% SS 26% DT 20% FT 4% 123 4% StockXpert 4% BS 3%
I never understand why other people are able to quote such high % for Fotolia, obviously the buyers there like some type of photo I don't take, or Fotolia's higher rejections of the photos is the reason.

sorry bestshotz I don't think your going to get much action here.
I don't think Mr Locke is going to break his exclusive contract with Istock for a startup from somebody who can't make established agencies work for them.
I think some more research before "launching" is necessary
There are million dollar companies that people won't submit to.
If yuri started his own site, then he might have a chance.
I think you really need to think of a niche area for your photos.

As it would be easy to reshoot I would offer a "new and better version" that hasn't been sold RF yet.
And you could write the cost of the steak off on your tax and enjoy a nice dinner.

fotolia has the most easiest criteria. they accept almost anything. I think they should be even more strict in terms of image quality such as - no acceptance for images taken by compact camera, due to poor lens quality, especialy purple fringing. Like istock.
Most easiest criteria ? Why then does the majority of people report their worst acceptance ratio with fotolia ? They reject canon 5d mk II images so don't worry about the compact cameras I'm sure not many get through. Either you are a fantastic photographer that's cracked the fotolia code or your a fisherman looking for bites (looks like you got a few)

StockXpert comes in 4th on my earning list, lots of subscriptions >80%. My earning aren't plummeting they just swing up and down each month, no general trend. Majority of subcriptions are from Jupiter or photos.com. Hopefully these are new and different buyers than those who use to buy pay per image on StockXpert (or any other pay per image site I submit to) How you work that out I don't know, though if you had steady pay per image sales before and now none (absolute # not %) you could draw some conclusions

Get ready reviewers here comes your latest wave of brick walls. Especially with textures/backgrounds etc I think the amount you can make is directly related placement in the search (best match or whatever its called at each agency) You can see brick walls with 700-900 DL's and hundreds with none. No real difference between them. So if you don't come up on the first page I don't like your chances There can't be too much easy money left in textures but I'd love to be wrong. (uploading dirt, brickwalls, coloured pencils, concrete, sand, skies as I type) I think there are two areas for sharing 1) General techniques, software, lighting, photo reviewing, rejection reasons and alike that most people are keen to share, probably learnt some of their technique from someone else. 2) Financial details, business plans, detailed search info into niche areas etc. Some are keen to share, some treat it like asking someone you just met the age and weight.
