This is just bulshiat. My map still shows files from yesterday that aren't reported in earning page. And how can I have re-download of a file that wasn't sold before? Ok, maybe it was a preview download, but I just don't believe this....

Apparently files, showing on a map, but not in earnings page are not real sales.

Hi,
We have been working to deploy a fix but it has proved more complex than originally thought.
The issue is limited to the map. Your earnings data is still accurate. We will update you as soon as we have more news.

Say what you want...it's called "checks and balances". If the map is reporting sales and the summary isn't then there is a problem somewhere. I've got image sales indicated on the map and not the summary and that my friends is an issue....checks and balances! I'm sure it will be fixed in due time....they always do.
The map was never meant to be a check and balance...it was meant as a general idea of sales and a fun widget. You guys are the ones who are claiming that the map should be correct and match exactly with your sales summary. As far as I know, Shutterstock has never said that. Show me on the site where they claim that the map matches exactly, and I will shut my piehole. :-)

This file is showing on a map since morning , but when I go to "Earning Summary" page, it's not there (evening now). And there is another file like that, it's on a map but not in earnings page.
Can't it be a retry? Something previously purchased?

Then, after this we don't what is what, and what is more accurate. Why they even put map on site if it's just for fun? We are not playing here!!! What the map showing if it's not where they bought it?

Get that script from the SS forum and you will see a lot of downloads coming from Potwin, Kansas, from a farm in the middle of nowhere.
That place is the IP center of USA. A lot of sales have no other indication but an IP originating from USA. And then those sales will be assigned to that (unlucky) farmer.

I can also locate sales in the IP center Germany (some forest, with no farmer to be harrased), IP center of New Jersey, etc.
I'm not talking about location accuracy. I'm talking about files showing on a map, but not in earning summary. I had 2 of those today. I'm contributing about 2.5 years, and every single file (as far as I know) in those 2.5 years that showed on a map was then also reported on earning summary page. And since I see, I'm not the only one, having these problems, it's obvious that something is wrong here.

They don't have to say, that map matches sales. But in 2.5 years, not once did it happen, that map would show a sale (or whatever) and it wouldn't show in earning summary. And besides, if it happens to many people, there's obviously sth. wrong with it. Now you can shut your piehole.

What I noticed is sudden decrease of sales, by about 40%. As if I'm on some kind of black list or something. In middle of June sales started to be really poor, I thought maybe because of summer, but it goes on and on, with August one of my worst months in year or more.
strange, when ss was down for many days with no images at all searchable,
you would think ft would have recorded you a large boost of sales...
i am surprised that you did not see any strange phenomenon mostly recently..
maybe the ss clients all went to istock instead.
I don't know nothing about images not being searchable. I didn't have any 0 sales at SS. Actualy my Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday were really good with number of sales.
