I just noticed that my latest sub DL earned me $0.05 more than the one before it. They were both size "L", so there's no difference there. Anyone else notice this?

It doesn't really matter what software you are using as long as your photos are technically correct. If that software allows you to remove any chromatic abberation, logos and blemishes, it will be fine. Start with crisp focus and great composition and you should have only minor adjustments to make no matter what software you choose. I hope that helps!

I was just keywording and "Keywords Editor" says that it is not registered. The only problem is that the developer's website is no longer there! I didn't know that there was a time limit on it...

We have to find a way of doing this in an organized way.
Only once. That's how many times we need to succeed. If we manage to sink one agency, (preferably fotolia) the rest will come to us offering %70- 80 percent commission.
The way we are unorganized troops, they will keep getting rich, like they wouldn't be rich enough paying us %70.
It seems strange to me to hear all of the Fotolia-bashing. Yes, they lowered commissions, but they are still my TOP EARNER! More than IS. More than DT. More than SS. EVERY SINGLE MONTH.

Why does it always come down to complaining rather than answering a legitimate question? I would also like to know the usage differences...

It seems to me that it is easier to leave images up on slow selling sites (we're all complaining about lack of time!) than to delete them. If regular payouts don't come, it's not hurting anything to have the images for sale on another site...
Just my 2 cents!

I've just completed a website for head-to-head photography battles. You don't win any prizes, just bragging rights. The site is www.CameraClash.com. If anyone is interested in taking some photos just for fun, sign up for your free account. Photos and personal info NEVER SOLD or given out to anyone. Please let me know what you think!

Also, don't forget to take the name (motorola) off the phone and the wording on the pin in the center of his hat. Those may get you rejected. Great image!

I think that it is easy for us, being in the image of producing and selling images, to forget that most people don't realize that photos have value. How many times have we all seen that glazed look in someone's eyes when we say "Stock Photography"? We're a very small percentage of the population. Just like any other profession, it's easy for the professional to see what the public overlooks.

Maybe they should worry about getting decent stats in place for us! It would be nice to be able to view all sales for the day on one page with number of dl's from each site clearly marked. Also a way to see month-to-month stats...

I got t his message in my StockXpert inbox today and wondered why they weren't doing this before... As you know, StockXpert.com was recently acquired by Gettyimages as part of the Jupiterimages acquisition. The StockXpert team is now working closely with our new friends to align our application and submission policies to ensure a legally safe and sound marketplace for selling your images.
In the upcoming weeks, we are going to review the entire Stockxpert collection in order to identify and remove any images that infringe on someone's intellectual property. At the same time, we will be tightening our image approval process to filter out images that we simply do not feel comfortable with.
As an example, any future uploads that contain unmodified NASA images will no longer be accepted. These images will also be removed permanently from the Stockxpert collection.
For images that will be removed from the Stockxpert collection for legal reasons, you will receive a deactivation notice to identify the image(s) that are being removed and, the legal reason that prompted the removal.
We will do our best to provide you with as much information as possible on our evolving intellectual property policies and procedures. Also, we will be updating our FAQ section on Stockxpert to highlight changes to our policies and to better reflect our future legal standards.
We look forward to working with all of you and thank you for your continued collaboration to build Stockxpert into a creative resource that designers everywhere can enjoy.
Best Regards, The Stockxpert Team [email protected]

My wife and I started a microstock site a few years ago (justmacros.com). We were going for a niche market. It was tough going and didn't quite make it. I would love to be involved in this project!

I've tried out the service and find myself looking at my best-sellers and thinking "WOW! That's a crappy image! I could do so much better now!". The service itself is great, but I would personally like to see a couple more sites added.
