I will bet you a dollar that they won't be happening tomorrow. I would say the 17th at the earliest.
I'm sure they'll probably get around to it on or about the 17th, but it wouldn't surprise me the slightest little bit if they went back and adjusted everyone's royalties to reflect it having started on the 1st.
Boy, they sure are organized over there at IS, got my first .18 sale this morning . . . . . . . . . . .
Lol! Sure feels good to feel valued :-)

I've heard too many stories over the years about Google's approach to business to see them as warm and fuzzy. Heck, even PayPal has a better reputation for dealing with its customers than Google. Then again, I did work for Google's CEO back when he was a VP as Sun Microsystems. Eric Schmidt has all the warmth and humanity of a crash test dummy.
Lol! I always stay away from crash test dummies, they're really accident prone.

From 112 votes so far, just 37.5% will be carrying on as usual. It seems that a fair few will be making a stand or have already done so.

After numerous tries, i finally got accepted yesterday and make my first sale today Thanks for your tips.
...I forgot to mention. Get as many images on as you can now, because as well as new images getting more exposure, new photographers do too. I had so many sales in my first few months from a handful of images, including my first EL from any site.

] I don't think that Yuri puts his stuff on every site that there is. He's putting his stuff here, so he must think there is potential.
I've never seen a site that Yuri doesn't like
Blimey! In that case, maybe I will make a site called Yuri Stock.

Fantastic. I remember almost not believing I got in, as I was rejected that many times. Just curious, did you resubmit any of the stuff that were previously rejected?

Well, the other part has had two weeks to to post and clarify, all msites owners read here?
If you know all the msite owners well enough to know that they read here. Your Acceptance Ratio must be fantastic.

Welcome Ken. Nicely done with the video. Something I've never considered before.

Cmon, Hugo, explain whats going on here, you post this provocative post declaring your innocence, then disappear? If its all a big mistake, say something, its obvious youre reading.
Why wait, and have your buddies personal message me?
Give the guy a break. He's moved to a new house and it takes time to get internet in Asia, so I am sure he is seldom online these days. He said in another thread he needs time to win another trial, which I think is referring to this incident. When he's good and ready he will reply here if he wants and if he doesn't want to, that's his prerogative.

Oh, I didn't realize that our earning % went up along with the image level. Good to know!
Yeah I only got to know that recently and was surprised too. I still prefer 50% though, but I've always been a silly fool.

I'm a little pissed off to read this Arian "To be honest with you we haven't spent a single cent on marketing towards buyers yet." I know you continue to say.. "We have a lot of plans, original plans that never been done by any other agency before".. but to never have spent money on marketing could be why I have never had a sale. Hope the plans come into fruition asap. http://www.mostphotos.com/forum/general/1980/come-on-mostphoto-talk-to-ussales

I was hoping that the community would be more appreciative?
hahahaha! I'm not opposed to free credits being given to prospective clients if it has the desired effect. My sales on 123rf have significantly increased over the past few months and I'm not uploading much. 123rf always seem to be trying to push for more buyers and more sales. I wish I could get that same impression from BS.

A couple of years back I uploaded a couple of photos taken from my mobile which were also upsized, to a few agencies. To my 'Big' suprise one of the top 6 agencies accepted one of them, the other was rejected for compositional reasons. I've since taken the image off.

Hi All,
We don't give away free images - we didn't choose any specific image to be free and then give it away. We give away free credits to select prospective clients,
Is Mark Zuckerberg one of them?

Another question: do they let you know if you've been accepted in their third party sales program? I applied long ago but never received neither a positive or negative answer
+1 I'm waiting to hear also. I sent them a few emails over the past couple of months, first to ask how to enter for 3rd party sales, then to say I have entered 100 images into a lightbox, then to ask if it has been accepted or not. Complete silence on all emails.

what is the requirement of the banners? why not list down here? so whoever interested can just do something and show you.
Hi mtkang, The competition is being run through my blog. No specific requirements other than it's an ad banner for picWorkflow. Ad banners generally are quite to the point, but you can also be as creative as you like. Once you have completed your ad banner just send me a message through this contact form http://www.microstockposts.com/contact/ And here's a link to the post again with the details http://www.microstockposts.com/referral-badges-wanted-for-picworkflow/ Don't forget as well as the 1000 credits on picWorkflow, the winners will also have their names and weblinks appear on picNiche, picWorkflow as well as my blog.

Hi folks, Im coming up on my next round to submit to SS for first time approval.. I've been rejected (can you believe) 5 times. In each previous batch I had 3 - 5 images come back with the explanation '7 out of 10 needs to be approved', which i understand means they were technically approved. how ill-advised would it be for me to go pull some these and resubmit them? i've been told to submit new each time but im trying to play it safe. Especially because some of these shots are selling on other sites. thanks
I was rejected 5 times too. My 6th application was accepted, which had one photo already submitted on previous occasions. However, this is my best selling microstock image.

I've just had my first week at SS and have 29 sales with 32 files - reviews are reasonable and find that stuff is reviewed AND sold before even approved on DT / rejected by IS
Excellent work. I like 'Jack and Jill'. Upload as many as you can now, sales rocket for new contributors.

Blimey, another pistols at dawn thread. Anyway back to the OP. I know he's been mentioned a couple of times already in this thread, but he's worth mentioning again. When I was at Uni. many moons ago, we had a pretty good library, with heaps of books on photographers. I would love sitting in the library going through those books. Undoubtedly, I would look at books on Henri Cartier-Bresson though. He definitely influenced the way I photographed at the time. I keep meaning to scan those photos and put them online (although I don't know where), or even print them, however a lot of the negs aren't in good condition now.

Sales over the last three month have been great. They are doing something right! Not too many sub sale either.
Yes same for me. Plus got my highest paying EL last month which was $43.

Bob, ISyndica was excellent and this is also great. The site is actually a lot faster than iSyndica, which is useful for people with slow internet connections. It's nice that I only have to upload my stuff just one time again and I can see easily what images have been sent where. It would be great if you could incorporate analytics in to this oneday. Great job though Bob.

Blimey! It's been a week already and still no bowel movement. They must be about to explode, or is it implode. I guess we keep feeding them too much.
