So it was not only me :-) At first I was pissed when go 100% rejected but then I decided keep trying since same images are accepted and sold on other agencies.

I got a feeling that it may be worse than previous one. I guess everybody is cutting corners.

I earned $14 in October, then almost nothing in 2 months so I was surprised when I received notification about transfer to PayPal. I did not request money so why now, why not in November?

I do not really see why I should delete account. I'd rather stop submitting and check once in a while if I am having any sales.

Are we going to see this keyword ranking somewhere? So we can remove keywords that drags us down or replace them with better ones.
It looks like they are introducing something like Google's search engine optimization (SEO). 1239
General Stock Discussion / What's your niche?« on: December 09, 2008, 15:12 »
After half a year on microstock I am not sure if I actually found my sweet spot. I probably have no chance to compete with people like Yuri on studio shots of business situations. So far my most viewed/sold images are nature landscapes.

Off Topic / Re: Canon Cameras counterfeit batteries in circulation« on: December 09, 2008, 13:58 »
Maybe flash card are cheap (thanks to competition) but Canon batteries a really overpriced and this is a main reason for creating market for cheap replacements. I actually use some of these third party batteries for years and some of them got better parameters than originals from Canon.

Tried to optimize catalog, restore previous one from backup and reinstall. No error message so I cannot guess what's wrong. It was working fine until yesterday when asked to make backup. Then I imported some pictures and tried to edit them. No changes to system that I am aware of.

It is too much hassle to upsize my images for them, then when they find something wrong with one picture they reject entire batch so it means I have to upload one picture at the time. I will wait till I got better camera.

iStockPhoto.com / Re: My View on the future of IStock as a full-time non-exclusive microstocker« on: December 01, 2008, 23:40 »More so with about 20-30% rejections on the same "overfiltred" and "artifacts" my upload limit is actually only about 20-25 files per week. I simply cannot maintain my income. I wonder why I haven't given up yet if pros got such problems :-) I was able to put whopping 90 files online in half a year period. No way to have income with such limits :-) 1244

I guess it's crappy excuse cause if you designer you job is to create, compose, etc. Just get larger image and crop as you wish.
