Hey desdemona, interesting to hear your experiences with DT exclusivity. Thanks for sharing, but sorry for the decline (seems not to be just DT, many agencies have declined lately). I write about what I think are the best agencies to work with on my site https://www.microstockman.com which you may find useful. But in a nutshell, I would say Shutterstock, Adobe/Fotolia, DepositPhotos, Alamy. Personally, I wouldn't just try one as each persons portfolio has different success at different sites. If you have 3 hours a week I would spend 1 hour uploading to the first 3 I mentioned, and see which one begins showing the best results for your work. Hope that helps.

Oh I see, thanks for explaining and congrats on the raise (if it ever means anything for video).

Ok I checked it but I can't see any changes. Have they changed anything that I am missing?

I'm lost - where is the 'raise' in this thread? What are we talking about exactly?

Hey matt, Nice upgrades. I like the 2 featured collections, however could I suggest they have a collection name overlaid onto it? e.g. the ones shown on this page: https://blogs.adobe.com/creativecloud/new-for-adobe-stock-contributors-customized-portfolios/?segment=adobe-stock - could have a "Health" and "Adventure" title on the collection, rather than just an image. And as has been mentioned, it's impossible to make a collection properly without the ability to search for a keyword through the entire portfolio, and then select all. No one has time to click through thousands of images. Also, on another topic altogether, all of my sales in Adobe Stock are reported as "invalid date". All of them. Any idea why? Cheers Matt, keep the up improvements!

Yes, it is possible. But everyones view on what it means to 'live' on microstock income will vary.
If you live cheap, and work hard it is possible. But it is becoming harder to do so.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Will keep an eye on it and see if that referral's page comes down soon

Yeah this price is higher than I would have liked. I'm torn. A few bucks less per month and I would be sold. I'm on the fence with this amount.

I had a problem on Mac with the latest Deepmeta update. After updating, clicking on the Files or Activity tabs resulted in a fatal error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object'.
Rolling back a version didn't fix it. I had to delete my Deepmeta data in Application Support folder to fix it. Frustrating.
Thanks for reporting, and I would be grateful if you could drop me a line at [email protected], letting me know the username you use in DeepMeta. This would allow me to track down the issue and get it fixed, so that this kind of thing doesn't happen again. Thanks!
Sent. Hope that helps.

Seems like that's the popular spot to stand for the shot!

Thanks GL, i appreciate you taking the time to give your side of things here. While I'm sure many would want more finite answers, at least having dialogue with an agency is a good thing.
Look forward to seeing the new GLStock!

Yep, big decline - 2 years ago was the peak for me. Since then downhill.
Hoping other agencies pick up the slack, but they don't seem to be to the point where it covers what SS is loosing for me.

They aren't reviewing at the moment, due to the change in PhotoDune's direction.
Check their forum for more information.

You just need to be REALLY patient, the contributor side of things isn't great at the moment. You upload images, they disappear for sometimes days, sometimes weeks, but I have had ALL of mine show up eventually.
