Now is showing 2013 because I removed Symbiostock, re-installed but not activated it. If I activate it is showing blank. I'm waiting for Leo.

CleanTheme (or any other child theme) will change the styling of your site, such as fonts, colors some spacing and it may occasionally move a few elements around on the page.
It will not create new content or install any plugins so you are still free to build your home page to look any way you want. If you want a home page with a slider you will need to make sure you are creating and setting a static home page (probably using the Home Page CTA template) in WordPress instead of defaulting to the blog page.
There are many threads on setting up your home page and which plugins and widgets people are using. I hope to have time to do a full tutorial on this soon at Symbioguides. In the meantime, here is a thread where Chico shared a marked up screen shot of the home page structure:

Hi Amanda, I have purchased the Clean Theme, installed it but there is nothing different by SY child theme, I cane see the layout of my site in the same way. The Demo I saw for the Clean theme was a different thing. I have the same layout like the main Child theme for Symbiostock. No difference. Did you go to Appearance>Themes in your dashboard on the left and activate Child Theme 2.0, which will automatically deactivate the SY theme? It looks like, from your link above, that you have the Twenty Thirteen theme activated. Your theme page should look like this:
Yes Cathy, I did exactly this....Now you see the Thirteen becuase I updated Symbiostock from 2.5.5 to 2.5.6 and I got again white screen and couldn't access my Dashboard. So I was forced to remove Symbiostock from File Manager in order to be able to access the Dashboard again. Now I'm waiting for Leo to fix it again, I hope I will not get this white screen every time I make an update, is annoying....

 In fact, I'd like to know how to fix it by myself, I cannot think that each time I update it I get blank screen and I have to disturb Leo again.

Nope, he doesn't tell me how to fixed it, he saw an error in the erorrs log. Now I removed again Symbiostock and I will try to upload it again.

Be sure to select 'PHP 5.3' instead of 'PHP 5.3 (Single php.ini)'... Not sure if that will cause problem. The zip pack should be fine at least on my account.
Is not this the problem! Is not working with PHP 5.3 sINGLE NEITHER WITH php 5.3 normal, neither with 5.2, neither with 5.4!

For me is not working. I deleted Wordpress, I set PHP to 5.3 and reinstalled Wordpress. When I activate the Symbiostock theme I continue to have white screen. And Bluehost says is developer issue. In fact the error I get in Errors Log IS: PHP Fatal error: Call-time pass-by-reference has been removed in /home1/luxurys8/public_html/stockphotos/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/network-manager/network-manager.php on line 1645

Patience, grasshopper, patience. Between your first post and this one it has barely been an hour.
I have tried all the alternatives, seems that the symbiostock zip not working and the Bluehost assistance cannot help me, they say is the Symbiostock developer which has to help me....
What version of WordPress are you using? If 3.6, then I would try and uninstall 3.6 and install 3.5.2 (which you can find here: http://wordpress.org/download/release-archive/)
Then make sure that you are using the latest version of php 5.3.
Shazam that one wasn't my first topic  it was another one in the page two. I am on Bluehost and I cannot install a previous version of Wordpress from my Wordpress webbuilder. At least from how much I can see. If there is a way, please tell me. Last version of Php is not 5.3 I have 5.4 too, but is not working with none.

Of course you can do it. Go in CPannel -> Software/Services -> Php config No solutions for me. I have tried with all the php versions and I have disabled all the plugins. Nothing. I continue to get the white screen. Are we sure that the zip file is ok? Can I get some assistance?

Hello, I have the same issue. I am on Bluehost and there is no way to activate Symbiostock without get white screen....
