A question for Mat or anyone who knows: Is it possible to get a spreadsheet from AS that has basic info like whether usage was for a book or magazine and the territory it applies to. I know this is usually rights managed territory, but lately I see a lot RF images with detailed usage info from other sites. This info is very useful when making claims for copyright payback schemes like DACS in the UK or Access Copyright in Canada. Finding usage by google searches only returns a small fraction of usages. Any hope?
No, sorry but we are not able to share customer information.
Kind regards,
Mat Hayward
OK, thanks Mat. I know no agent/library will share customer information, and that is as expected. Usage information however is strictly anonymous (e.g. worldwide use in textbook). I assume AS has that information and are just happy leaving copyright payback money on the table. Alamy make quite a bit of money making these payback claims for contributors. Something AS bean counters might want to look at.

Now that I'm reading this, I just wanted to say that my problem of last year appears to have resolved. After more than 1000 uploads, all operates as designed. Pluse I have not had one image get embedded keywords removed to be replaced by AI guesses. Onwards and upwards.

Actually - I think all of your graphs are wrong. My graph also shows no sales this week, when in fact I have 3 so far. The AS graph has not updated or is inactive this week. AS: any explanation?
I think Mat said they will be "closed" for the holidays.
Let's hope they didn't turn all the computers off when they left

I am consistently having problems submitting images for review. In a batch of, say, 50 images, all have a green check mark. I press the submit for approval button (twice) and off they go. I get the green "your files were successfully submitted" flag. BUT, only, say, half make it to review. Going back to the "new" folder they re-appear, and will not budge no matter how many times I try. I usually have to wait a day, and the next day they will likely go through (sometimes the category field gets deleted and I have to re-enter this). This happens every day now. Any way to avoid this? Am I doing something wrong?
Nope, happens to me as well. I find the only way to correct it is to submit 1-2 images and then the green tick marks return to the previously saved files.
It may well have something to do with categories. Although they are all filled out for submission, and get a green check mark, when they get get stuck and don't go through, the next day the categories are all blank. And the auto-category AI no longer works. After re-entry of all categories, the images go into review. On the plus side, out of several hundred images uploaded, I've only seen one where the keywords were deleted and replaced with the AI guesses.

I finally made it onto the board today! I am in position 50,000th. I must be at the bottom because I'm not doing very well here since starting earlier this year. Only 234 downloads. Most of my stuff gets rejected for editorial, so it's no wonder.

This happens to me regularly. I mean, out of 2-3 uploads of 30-40 images each, one image will have the auto-keywords the AS up-loader guessed rather than those embedded in the image meta data. I catch this when I go to re-order the keywords. I don't think there is a fix.
