It's stange because I had a particularly bad month on 123rf. I'm not seeing the love that the rest of you are
![]() Bigstock made up for it though by giving me a BME with a 50% rise on my previous BME. 1254
Newbie Discussion / Re: stockphoto sites with lenient or non-existent QC?« on: October 02, 2011, 15:31 »
Most sites have a minimum amount of keywords allowed usually about 9 keywords so just putting one or two won't work. Why don't you take a few of your best images keyword them and upload to a few of the top sites to see how they get on

Newbie Discussion / Re: stockphoto sites with lenient or non-existent QC?« on: October 02, 2011, 12:28 »
You still need to keyword your images on these sites which you didn't seem to want to do on another thread. You really aren't going to make anything if you aren't willing to put in the work. I'm beginning to wonder if you are just trolling!!

When I feel really strongly about it I write to them and ask them to reconsider, often with positive results.

Shutterstock.com / Re: shutterstock account suspended« on: October 01, 2011, 08:01 »It sounds like you understand why you left them no choice. They couldn't keep giving warnings, at some point they would have to say enough is enough and suspend you. Sorry it happened, but after two warnings.....Yes I'm afraid that I agree. If they hadn't suspended you then you would have just kept on doing it. Saying that I hope that it is only a temporary ban to show you that they mean business and that you have learnt from it. 1263

I wish I could say that 123rf was up there in the top 4 but even with FT dropping to a third of my previous earnings they are still making me 6 times more than 123.
123 is in 6th place for me as I make half there than what I do at bigstock. It always surprises me when people get anything like the earnings on the smaller sites as they do on what I consider to be the big 4. 1265

Just realized that you had to scroll down to the bottom of the stats page to see the single sales and when I did I saw that I have had my first one for 5.70

I don't think there has ever been a problem with deleting them simply that you can't move them back into the normal collection.

How refreshing to hear a stock site listening to the contributors and adjusting things accordingly. There are a few other sites that could take a lesson from you and I wish you all the luck in the world to take you to the top.

If it's about price then all they should do is stop us having the abilitly to double the price of our images and leave our commision level alone.

123RF / captcha to see your earnings!!!!!« on: September 30, 2011, 06:53 »
To check my earnings on 123rf I was just asked to fill in a captcha. I went to another page and went back to earnings to test it and was asked to fill in a captcha again. That is a real nuisance especially for obsessive checkers like me. What's the point if we are already signed in?

If that was the case then I think people would be reporting the new single sales as well and so far I haven't heard anybody say that they have one.
